Man U have been rumoured to be putting in a bid since the window opened, Moyes has more chance of whistling Dixie with his head stuck up his ARSE, we know that Levy will not sell him to another PL team,(remember 2 yrs ago with Modric and Chelski).

 :2funny: :2funny: :2funny:

One thing is sure he won't be playing in this country for any other team. Besides; no English team can match Real Madrid.

Man U are now looking too....... ffs will it never end
I'd rather see him leave for Real Madrid than a domestic club.

Well apparently we have made a 30 mill offer for Lamela. That, coupled with Eriksson, would suggest that we are still negotiating in private with RM. I just cannot help but think that Bale has lost all interest in playing for us anymore, and that he wants to go to RM. Quite frankly, if we can get those two, plus Contrao and another CB then we will have the best squad that we have ever had.

The good news is that Bale hasn't spoken about it, he hasn't put in a transfer request and at this moment is still a Spurs player. It also seems that RB is getting cold feet; saying that want Spurs wants is a lot of money.

I hope we are not spending the Bale money before we have got it. The deal may well be ongoing but nothing is certain until medicals have been passed and contracts signed.

And don't forget that he has a dodgy foot.

But it this way; we've got the best chance we've had for a long time to win the league.

This situation with Bale reminds me of the situation with Harry when he was linked with the England job. Instead of coming out and committing himself to Spurs, he kept quiet and kept his options open. We all know what happened next.

For me, if Bale had any loyalty to Spurs he would have said so by now. I can only see this going one way, and thats on a flight out of Heathrow. The sooner the better so we can bring in the final pieces to the jigsaw.

I'm just starting to suspect we might be bringing in all these new players to show Bale we mean business this season. With him in the squad we would have a team capable of going for the title. Just maybe Levy is saying give us one more year playing with this lot and see what we can achieve. I cant see how he would fit in the Madrid side whilst Ronaldo is there so he may well be better off giving us another season and then see what happens.

Well I do hope you are right, but Bale needs to come out and say something. TODAY !!

I don't think any players has any loyalty to any club. The same goes for Spurs; Spurs first priority is the team, not loyalty to the player. Players are mercenaries; they go to the highest bidder and who can offer them trophies.

Bale's silence doesn't really mean anything other than he is keeping his head down. If he was so concerned he would have made a public statement by now. He knows he still could be at Spurs this coming season if Real Madrid don't kiss Spurs arse (i.e. cough up what Spurs want).

Personally I think he(Bale) is keeping his options open, he would be somewhat stupid if, given the opportunity to play for RM he didn't take it, and if it doesn't happen, because he has said nothing, WE as Spurs fans cannot condemn him, can we??
I will repeat what I have said in earlier posts, I wish if Levy is planning on letting him go, that he does so sooner rather than later, but having said that, I am not yet convinced that Bale is going anywhere, maybe that is wishful thinking, but I firmly believe that. Only time will tell approx. another 16 days and we will know, will we not.

Hope you are right about Bale staying. I cant really see it, but it would be absolutely fantastic if he did. We could challenge the big boys then. (Not that we cant challenge them without him!)

If Bale goes then it must be at the right price. That can take time. We all would like the Bale saga to be sorted out as soon as possible but negotiations always go to the wirer.

Real Madrid's manager said he is happy with what he is got. I wonder what that means where Bale is concerned?
