Rumours change several times a day. The report on AVB saying that Bale would defo stays (on the say so of Levy), is a few days old now. Fresh gossip is rife today and as I mentioned, only Bale can tell us.

There is till a good couple of months to go. Hopefully he wont make us wait till the bitter end!

I was thinking  there were less transfer rumours this year than before. We used to be linked with every superstar and their Nan and would just end up with the Nan! Reckon this year we have been linked with less, but will end up with more.

Yes I agree. I said somewhere else that I felt things seemed different this summer than previous transfer windows.
AVB and hopefully Bale seem happy with whatever was discussed in the post season trip to the Caribbean. We have so far mainly been linked with Paulinho, Villa, Benteke and on and off Leandro. Hopefully Paulinho and any 2 of the strikers will come off.

I agree and hopefully you are right.

Need to see something official statement wise from Bale or club that things are sorted and Bale is staying.

Some sources at Manu are stating Bale is going to them, if that is the case I would find it very hard to continue my support for THFC, this source is teh same one that said Fergie was to retire back in Jan, I am just hoping its bull s**t
THFC "COYS" and that is all I have to say about that!

In the last few days it seems to have gone a bit quiet on the Bale front. Apart from Paulinho saying he had been assured Bale was going to stay. I think him going to Man U will depend on what happens with Rooney and Ronaldo. Plus of course if he wants to go. We have an exciting season ahead the managerial changes at other clubs to my mind leaves this season wide open. I don't see United being as strong with Moyes and Chelski and City will take time to adapt. With a settled manager and an improving squad this could be our chance to give them at very least a run for their money.

The Bale front seems to have picked up of late. I noticed that both Bale and his agent have said that they have had no contact from Real Madrid. But they won’t have. For them to get any sort of contact from any club would have to be through Spurs; otherwise it is poaching. If Bale is saying he has had no contact then it is good news. Levy’s is refusing to entertain any approach for Bale.

To be honest, I don't think Bale would be sold to an EPL club. If - and that's a big IF - he was to be sold, it would be to Real Madrid.

Yes, they have given up the chase. Levy is quoted as saying NO again. There is another rumour linking Bale to Man U. Can anyone here see him going to another Premier League club?

All we need now is a striker (or 2) and we are away!

Actually they said they no longer after him for this season but will be back in 12 months time.

If Real Madrid can't get him then United have no chance. Anyway, it is looking good on the transfer front.

Is it? So who have we signed so far then? I know that the talk has been good, but we are used to that. I am cautiously optimistic that we will sort out our transfers early, but like others have said, until we see the players holding up the shirts I wait with bated breath.

Just look across at the Arse who were giving off the -  we will be changing old habits this year -  and they haven't moved yet either.
Maybe next year...

Oh, I agree with you. Nothing has happened until we see the whites of their eyes. But things are looking positive. At the moment we can only keep our fingers crossed.

Hard to say - the official site has been down for days now.
