Riff,
I was fortunate enough to see Joe Kinnear play for us, and you are quite right in what you say that they were very successful years during which time he made 258 appearances scored 2 goals for us and represented Eire 26 times, but unfortunately there are people who post on this site, who are either totally ignorant or who have no idea of the history or of the great players that have represented our club, perhaps they should take some time to investigate our history before making such ignorant and misinformed comments about people who played quite a significant part of our history.
Consider yourselves reprimanded. You are FOOLS, an apology is expected.
Deary me you have spat your dummy out, haven't you?
First of all you have no right to reprimand me, secondly you have no place calling me a fool. Lastly you will have zero chance of recieving an apology, particularly with comments and attitude like that. Who the hell do you think you are? I am neither ignorant of spurs' or the world's history, nor do I lack knowledge. Also, I have a sense of humour. Hence why I made the comment I did. My comment was neither abusive or personal. But based very clearly on the fact that however good he was a player, or okay as a manager, as a potential director of football he would be unwelcomed even at spurs, yet those fans at nufc have been given an unexpected and uninvited bombshell.
So if gazza was made director of football, no jokes are allowed to be made, nope that would be disrespectful because of his time as a player for us. Or how about Sol Campbell?
I respect all people, but that doesn't mean they are exempt from a joke or from criticism.
