Started a new thread in the correct section to allow this one to get back to Baldini.
Although there were a number of failures by both Comolli and Arnesen in the transfer market there were some undoubted successes. The players below were all brought in by a director of football.
Dawson, Bale, Berbatov, Modric, BAE, Boateng (okay not good for us, but doing well now, maybe should have kept him), Corluka, Huddlestone (who used to be good),
I know there were some flops as well, (Bentley, Ghaly, Rocha etc) but that is true of managers as well.
I think the key to this working is for AVB and Baldini to have a good relationship and that all parties involved are pulling in the right direction.
If it works then it could be the best thing to happen to Spurs. I am willing to give it a chance first, before condemning it.
