Bale will be gone by start of next season.... we will use the money to get a decent striker..

enjoy him this season while you can.

if a bid of 30m+ comes in for Bale (personally I'd deal at 26m pounds) Levy will take it... he'd be silly not to..

we simply move Moderate to LM regularly, which yes will be less potent than Bale there... but we will more than compensate by using the 30m to get a super-striker into the team..

net result  =  overall improvement in team quality/balance

Gareth Im new to this site but WHAT ON EARTH ARE YOU ON ABOUT ? Lets look at some facts, he's just signed a 5 year contract extension, he's very young & already the best player on the LW in the PL, his value in 2-3 yrs will be at least double his current value, now here's the BIGGY.... AS OF NEXT SEASON ALL THE TOP CLUBS PUT TOGETHER A RULE THAT STATES NO TEAM CAN COMPETE IN ANY EUROPEAN COMPETITIONS IF THEIR WAGE STRUCTURE EXCEEDS THEIR INCOME. All the financial "Big Boys" are going to sell A LOT of players so they can compete in the CL & EL, thats without any new purchases. Bale is worth at least £30M+, then add his new contract, then add to the fact Levy would've put a ridiculous "Buy Out" clause. There is the small matter he's publicly stated his Love of the Club. Sorry matey but here's here for a long while yet ! Get In !!!

Hopefully Bale will not join the likes of Berbatov and Carrick at least we have him under a long contract and he looks like he is enjoying him time at Spurs.

Bale wont be joining the Carricks and Berbas of this world because they simply cant afford anyone anymore.

The real world of finance is finally kicking in. I predict that as Utd slide and their financial situation gets worse they are going to struggle. Who is going to want to replace Fergie and know that they cant spend, going to be lucky to break even this season and that is if they hit semi's in CL.

Tough gig for the next guy that follows Fergie. If Levy and Redknapp can steer us through the next three seasons without killing ud financially then we could be a real force.

Nobody can afford Bale, Rooney etc etc apart from the Man Cities of this world

your claim that nobody can now afford Bale is real desperation..

Real Madrid could easily vget him with petty-cash if they wanted to, but will probably do a p-x deal involving Benzema or Diarra... then theres the likes of Inter Milan, AC Milan, Juventus to name but 3 others who not only could afford him but all 3 have enquired about him in the last 12 months...

Bale is now on double his previous salary, but its still now only 50k a week.... any of the others would double that easily...

I even suspect that Barcelona may be interested in him if he is still at Spurs by the summer...

its called being insightful Ugsy..... Arry has already put out discreet signals that Bale is available, by putting out feelers for Pedro at Barca....allied to the fact that a big striker is definately being looked for...

selling Bale also gets Arry outta a hole with how to play Modric and even vdV...... the left-midfield spot will do fine.., as well as give us the ammo to get in someone like Benzema who's actually more useful than having Bale, within the context of the squad..

Yesterday's midfield

Modric, Sandro, Huddlestone, Bale and VDV playing up Behind Pav, then Sandro off and Lennon on.

No problems there fitting all our midfielders in and we won away from home at a ground we normally struggle on .

You talk a whole lot of sh1te Gareth !!!

It's peolple like you that cause problems at clubs by starting stupid rumours about players just because it happens on your latest version of Football Manager.......... give it a rest virtually every prediction, rumour, team set up you have posted turns out to be absolute fantasy created by your tiny little twisted mind !!!!

even after I've explained exactly why/how Bale will be sold soon, you sheep STILL do not get it do you... perhaps I credited you with ameoba-like but still too much intelligence..

Jenas was obviously rested for the Milan game to come, as was Crouch and Lennon (but Lennon especially was called upon as Modric was doing very little at RM the 1st half, and Sandra was playing clumsily and got booked to nobody's surprise)...

time and again our strikers look the weakest part of the team, and Arry will use the highly-marketable Bale soon to rectify the striker-situation... its the easiest bit of business to be had as both clubs will look to strengthen... Bale will be swapped/sold for Benzema (or similar)...

we will still have Modric, vdV AND Kranjcar to play at LM..... it really couldnt be simpler... even for yous  ;)

I promise not to call other members sheep and should I call, I will be banned.
