Rocha looks a good buy, and can only get better while he adapts to our style of play. Gardener is just average.

Rocha imo.

Gardener is decent backup.

Rocha goes for and wins every header, even if it means hurting himself in the process, he is very determined. He can pass well, read the game well, and looks a good player.

Gardener is injury AND mistake prone, not consistent.

Rocha for me. :)

Yeah Gardner has improved this season but he is always capable of a mistake.

Rocha needs time to settle but he looks solid and much better on the ball.

Rocha for me.

:yeahthat:

Definatley i didn't think Davenport was bad at all, much better than gardener imo but still i think rocha is a good buy and when he settles down in the premiership could come in handy.

When king comes back though he has no chance :spoton:

I think they're both as useless as eachother.

Rocha's a top covering defender and will serve us well.

I just couldnt resist replying on this thread as i believe gardner is a terrible player. Everytime he plays i have a heart attack when he gets the ball, he is so clumsey (almost as clumsey as bramble).

his positioning is awful. I dont no if any1 else noticed this but when chelsea equalised 3-3 in the Fa cup at the bridge, a long ball was played upto drogba and anthony gardner made absolutley no attempt to get his head on the end of it, i  mean hes 6 foot 6 for christ sake, he didnt even put any pressure on drogba n then drogba calmly knocked it onto kalou who scored.

Every time a player runs at him in the penalty area i just expect him to bring him down. Best news i heard for a while was when it was announced he was injured for a while.
