I agree with Dazza in the fact that I think Gardner is a terrible player.

Roche is better than him hands down.

:D

I have given my vote to Rocha although it is closer than people are making out. Since he joined us he has looked very solid and unbeatable in the air for some games but then has had some off days and bad moments such as Ars*nal and Reading. Gardner has been with us many years and has grown on me dramatically this year. Over the course fo teh year he has been superb for us and has cut out the errors. He looks like a very composed defender and I have gained some confidence in him. He is great back up to the first team so it was shame when he got injured.

I agree with that Storts. Since Rocha joint he hasn't been at all consistent. He has had games where he's done rather well, and others where it was his fault some goals went in.

Strange really, but I still believe him to be the better player of the two.

I do agree, I am sure Rocha will be the better of the two. After all he has played at a high level for Benfica for many years in the Champions league sso he can't be that bad. I think he is still settling in to be honest which could explain his incosistency on the pitch. Hopefully Ledley will be back very soon which will mean Rocha can be the back up he was meant to be.

Indeed, every foreign player takes time to settle into the game of English football.

I remember I think it was the Ars*nal game it was Rocha's fault one of the goals went in.. Which didn't really help the rating of him from us fans because it was one of his first games..

They do..Unless your name is Dimitar Berbatov when you can adapt at the click of a finger.

He did, he lost his footing and fell over, trying to make up for his mistake by reaching for a header when the ball was on the gorund. I think many Spurs fans took exception to this because of the occasion. Shame really, I like the bloke

If you ask me, it is too early in Rocha's Tottenham career to judge him..

He has only been at Tottenham for a short period of time, and it can take some players an extremely long time to adapt.

Drogba took some time to adapt to the English game, but now he's one of the best strikers in the premiership, along with Martins for Newcastle.

Agreed, give him a season, I am sure next year we will see a much improved Rocha.

Drogba showed the need for time to adapt as has Sheva to be honest, although I have strong feelings on that one but won't go into it for now

Sheva being Shevchenko?

Even after his goal against Spurs, it was a cross and I stand by my decision on that.

Shevchenko, if you ever buy a computer, go on the internet, and randomly come onto this website and look at this thread, your phacking sh!t mate. :)

I'd say it was a cross. Before he hit it he looked up to find Drogba, then tried to cross it to him.
