Please expand on your answer...

Why?

Davids did great things behind the scenes and the young players loved him

No way was Davids a bad signing, he was a very important part of the team in 2005/2006, one of the few experienced players.

No Davids brought steel to the midfield and was a great influence. if you want a poor signing who's made very little impact then I'm afraid I'd have to say Danny Murphy. I had high hopes for him when he arrived but so far he has failed to live up to my expectations.

Agreed Riffhard. He was a very important signing as it showed our intent to sign world class players and although he was past it somewhat, he really was one of the main reasons we managed to get 5th imo. A crucial influence on the younger generation, even if he didn't play too well.

For bad signings just look back to the Christian Gross era.

Paulo Trammezani springs to mind

inconsistence...but sometime he was just too slow and found it difficult to play..also he alway critcised other players which lowered morale and he wont the best of players either.

yeah danny murphy is a bad signing too.

Comeon, Rasiak has got to have been our worst signing of the past few seasons. He was a complete waste of £2million and was never spurs quality. Luckily we had players like Mido, Keane and Defoe still on hand and weren't reliant on him to fire us into europe.

Come on, Rasiak had an impressive goal-scoring record in Championship and Championship is not that much worse than Premier League, I'd say he was a bit unfortunate.

Worst signing gotta be Rasiak didn't score any goals and we wasted 2 million. The other is Danny Murphy does not get into the first team because we are stacked with midfielders in the team.

Gary Doherty.
Postiga.
Dean Richards.
Toda what ever he was called.
Murphy.
Rasiak.
Mabizela
Andy Reid
Zamora

Generally, just go back to the Gross/Hoddle era.

Rasiak was a complete flop, never adjusted to the premiership.  His performance at the walker stadium led to our early cup exit.

Postiga cost us 8m something like that didn't score much I remember him scoring in a 2-1 win over Liverpool in January 2004.
