We sold Rasiak for more than we bought him for though, and he's doing very well at southampton.

Postiga was a waste of money, and then he went and put England out of euro 2004 with that header.

davids was brilliant for 2/3s of last season + we got him on a free. (yes i know he had a big contract)

Rebrov fricking owned, he was by far our best player until he had a bust up with Glenn Hoddle.

So he's not a worst signing imo, he pwned, just Glen Hoddle ruined him.

How can Rebrov be our worst signing he was one of our record signings 11m in 2000. He scored goals and the best was the thrashing of Chelsea in the then Worthington Cup a match we won 5-1 he scored in that. It was that bust up with Glenn Hoddle. No way is he our worst signing.

Who do you think??

I think Davids ...
surely nicola berti or paulo tremmazani absolute rubbish .davids was not a bad signing he was a very solid player with bag loads of experience .who has done it all i think that a rethink is in order there

Davids was decent as a player talent-wise, but more importantly he brought the intangibles to the table and was good in the locker room. He was hardly a bad signing.

For money's worth, I'd say Helder Postiga. He couldn't adjust to the Prems, plain and simple.

Overall, that useless twerp Rasiak. He might be doing better with Southampton, but so what? Just because he was good for them doesn't vindicate him from the fact that he was not only awful for us, but for his country in the last WC.

(An aside here, the coach for Poland was off his rocker not dressing certain star players for that, and Boruc was brilliant even if the rest of the team wasn't much. We're seeing what Poland is truly capable of now in their hot streak in a group that also includes Portugal and Serbia, a Belgian team that ought to be doing way better, and a Finnish team that is surprising the hell out of everyone.)

Acimovic

Doherty

Ziege (good player but played only when it suited him, fat contract took the money gave us very little) hence poor signing.

And dont forget Andy Booth from Huddersfield only a loan player but diabolical

Acimovic was a Hoddle signing if I am right and he didn't last long he was one of our other worst signings.

Dotherty An another own goal scorer v Leicester 2003/2004 when we made it 1-0 this fool tries to make a clearance but it ends up in the net 1-1.

Ziege Remember him scoring a free kick v the scum 2002/2003 season was a good player and haven't looked back.

Nicola Berti, Weren't he friends with Klinsman? I thought he was ok.

The Doc was awefull. Dont get me started on Andy Booth, Were we seriously thats desperate??

Did Toda actually play any games for us?

I used to like Rebrov, started really well, just couldn't get the breaks when it came to scoring.

Postiga, well he had a good name to sing to, but again couldnt score.

I was at the lane to see his first goal for spurs, i thnk it was VS Man City

I agree, Mile was disappointing. Which is too bad because he was good for Slovenia in Zahovič's last days (EURO 2000, WC 2002). He hasn't been spectacular for Lille, but he's been okay.
