Davids was decent as a player talent-wise, but more importantly he brought the intangibles to the table and was good in the locker room. He was hardly a bad signing.
For money's worth, I'd say Helder Postiga. He couldn't adjust to the Prems, plain and simple.
Overall, that useless twerp Rasiak. He might be doing better with Southampton, but so what? Just because he was good for them doesn't vindicate him from the fact that he was not only awful for us, but for his country in the last WC.
(An aside here, the coach for Poland was off his rocker not dressing certain star players for that, and Boruc was brilliant even if the rest of the team wasn't much. We're seeing what Poland is truly capable of now in their hot streak in a group that also includes Portugal and Serbia, a Belgian team that ought to be doing way better, and a Finnish team that is surprising the hell out of everyone.)
