I am a little shocked by the amount of people who blame Harry!, lets not forget it, we were bottom of the league near the end of November with just TWO points! and he turned a relagation looking team into finishing 8th! , remarkable I think, He saved our future because I hate to think what might have happened had we gone down!!!. After the that we never finished below 5th, finishing 4th TWICE!, we where playing some wonderful football and we had become a regular team in Europe!, not to say a debut in the champions league!, He brought more hope to me in believing we where closing in on challenging for the league, bit by bit, slowly and surely we started getting better and better!!, we still had hick ups but we where giving as good as we got
. Im not trying to turn Harry into a marter or anything Im just saying we should be thanking him and praising him!. Sure the court case and the England job was a distraction but it was still the same players doing the buissness on the pitch!, not him.
I dont blame Harry for wanting the England job either, any English manager would want it!, the high of the carrers!!!. He was the best of the crop at the time and its a shame he never got it, what he did do is mix experience and quality with youth and got a good blend and we saw the results on the pitch!, now with so many changes we have unbalance, players arguring on the pitch, most of the new players are not good enough or dont understand there job, the older experienced players dont seem to care now either!, it is as if they have decided to let someone else take the lead, World cup year has not helped either as the players are not giving 110% as they dont want to risk there place in there national team through injury. This lack of desire and determination is having a domino effect on the team as whole!, and this is why it is paramount that a leader on the pitch need to be found, I feel sorry for Sherwood he is giving everything but the players are just not in the right frame of mind, they too quickly revert back to bad habbits and old ways when things are not going there way!, the youngsters are getting the wrong signals aswell, they see the badness on the pitch and put that into there game and so our team is spiralling on a downward path
. Tim has the passion but alas not the experience or the players so this is going to end bad for him
, what ashame I really like him, I dont see any quick fix!, I dont see any real flare in our team, I dont see us scoring many goals anymore, I dont see us keeping clean sheets! as the more the team keeps blaming itself and wellowing in self pitty rather than just getting on with there jobs there paid to do we are deemed to keep failing. As shown above, looking back at the players we have let go it totally baffles you!, This is very very bad management right from the top!, Levy may well have thought he was running a good buissness bt how much of an investment is it when we keep falling!!!, our shares go down!!!, our revenue drops when once again we struggle to even finish top 7!, He may think OK il just bring somebody else in and he will get us back on track! lol, does he really believe that Van Gaal will wave a magic wand and things will be back to what they where?, wake up and smell the coffee Mr Levy!, it wouldnt surprise me one bit that when it comes to appointing another manager those faithfulls of his will have switched sides and gone elsewhere or suddenly no longer want the job!, knowing they are deemed to fail and this will leave a bad blip on there own CVs!!!, How do they expect to lure the required quality of player needed? where are the funds going to come from with no superstar strutting millions of dollars on the pitch with a FOR SALE sign on him saying! come and get Real, M.U, Barcelona etc.!!!!, are you getting the picture here?!!! things could not be much worse since Harry left and the most worrying part of all is, who do we know that we really think is good enough to motivate the players, experienced enough to ween out the deadwood!, stop all the perks and nice stuff the players get?. get them playing football 24/7. eat football!sleep football!!! stand up and become a player worthy of the Spurs shirt. Is there such a manager? I cant think of anyone really, not like when we new Harry was coming!, the buzz around the ground! , the gossip of us fans thinking we going places!!, all this seems but a faint memory
