What left winger should we try and buy then?

The first two that come to mind are Pedersen and Downing but both are too inconsistant for me.

yeah downing would be quite good, a naturally left footed player, but like you said he's too inconsistant so i'm not sure who else we could get
Berba > God

Lee has been playing very well recently, his defensive approach has certainly improved in the last few months without a doubt..

Downing would be a good buy IMO, aslong as we can get him for a decent price, anything more then

Giles Barnes looks like a quailty prospect and one we should definitely go for.

Quote
Javier Saviola has revealed his frustration at being kept in the dark over whether he will be offered a new contract by Barcelona at the end of the season.

The Argentinian forward's current deal at Camp Nou expires in June but he has heard nothing about whether the Blaugrana want to keep him or allow him to leave on a free transfer. Saviola has been given permission to negotiate with other clubs but is not prepared to hold talks until the situation at Barca is resolved.

"I do not want to talk about joining any other club because I am still a Barca player, but I have had interest from several big teams," he continued.

"I do not know whether I will have to leave, but I am open to hear offers."

We should def go for him, he's a class player and would be brilliant upfront with Berba. They complement eachother perfectly and I see it being a very successful partnership.

Martin Petrov from Ath Madrid is the answer to our LW problems.

Giles Barnes looks a great player and Sneijer and VDV would be awesome signings.

^Yeah Martin Petrov would be a great signing. We've been linked to Johan Elmander this morning. Dont know much about him but it says that Barce and Lyon have also been linked with him.

He's decent. Will probably take his place alongside Ibrahimovic as the go-to #2 forward for Sweden now that Larsson's out of the international scene. Unless Alex Farnerud goes on a hot streak and takes it from him :p

If i had the choice i'd like to see a good attacking midfielder brought in. Think we're strong enough at the back with king fit, good enough up front but apart from jj not really got a consistent scoring midfielder.

Maybe Diego from werder bremen? dont know if he'd wanna though, got a lot of big clubs interested

I quite like the look of the Morrocan guy that plays wide left for Watford. I'm afraid I cant remember his name but he looks a good prospect and he should come reasonably cheap.

In's and Out's

Out;
Murphy - Never looks interested!

Ziegler - Only ever going to be a fringe player

Gardner - Border line (but he always gives away goals!)

Assou Ekotto - lightweight.

Mido - Just does not have it.

Defoe- Only if we get Darren Bent

In's  Loads I would like to see;

Here's a few

Toni, Baines, Bent, Curtis Davies, Cahill, Scott Parker.

We need a strong unique winner in the centre of the park.

Someone who has the mind like Vieira or Roy Keane.
They hated to lose.
