Gareth Bale has given the strongest indication yet that he is going to stay. He has said that WE must learn from our mistakes this season, that we are a young squad, and must try again next season.
For me, that is very good news. He obviously has faith in AVB and what he is trying to do at Spurs.
Maybe now some of the doubters will get behind AVB and support our long term plans.

I am also starting to think that Bale may stay for another season. The sooner he signs a new contract the better, as the media can then shut up and start making up other gossip.
I will get behind AVB when the team starts to meet it's potential. I appreciate that it is not his fault that our chairman would rather give himself a big rise than invest in the squad. I also realise that losing Modric, and to a lesser degree VDV did not help him. The simple fact though are that we came one position lower than last year, regardless of the points tally. We also went out of every cup to rubbish sides. It's also a fact that the football we play is no longer entertaining. All those factors tell me that last season was a bad one. As much as I would like AVB to be sacked, I know it's not going to happen, so I will continue to get behind him. Man Utd, Citeh, Chelsea, Ars*nal and even Liverpool will be spending heavily this summer, if we don't invest, our squad simply won't be good enough to keep up with the competition !!
