You have obviously had a memory lapse Riff, was it not The Scum that stopped us from playing CL this season? I wouldn't cross the street to watch either team play unless they were playing Spurs, so I certainly would not congratulate either of them for winning anything other than finishing bottom of the league, and I make no apologies either, to be perfectly honest I HATE both Clubs with a PASSION !!!

 :o :o :o
Was this reply really aimed at me or maybe dimexi? Anyway, as I pointed out earlier, I won't let blind hatred towards some players and teams refrain me from giving credit when credit is due. The fact is that Chelsea are in the final and that means they played better. Fair enough, isn't it?

Not looking to be a doom and gloomer, but looking at harsh facts.

Again we are at the point whereby our fate is no longer truly in our hands but very dependent on the results of others even if we win all our remaining games and those above us Goons and Chelsea do the same (chelsea even lose one we will still end up 5th.

Everton are closing in also!!

For me this isnt exitment its bloody torture!!! How many times when in this type of position do we lose out, last season third was ours we stuffed it, had a second shot to secure it but stuffed up at villa we know the rest.

In AVB we have a great manager, our core team is strong but we dont have the depth at all compared to the big 4.

Barring more injuries I think we can put up a good fight for sure but I fear these last 2 weeks may have finished our season off!!

I think now in our games we have to go all out for big wins, not the careful approach we cant look at our remaining games with the view of a draw being a good result, to achieve the place we need its win win and nothing less.

I fear to say that if we dont make it this season, it wont be a case of better luck season as we wont have the players to challenge top 4!!!

Just expect 5th mate, and if you don't believe me, wait until tonight when Chelski stuff us.
AVB OUT, AND TAKE LEVY WITH YOU

It was the rules that stopped us playing in the Champions League and if we were in the same position we would have expected to take the 4th spots position (that is if we had won the CL). We can't punish Chelsea for what was in the rules.

Regrets, I’ve had a few;
But then again, too few to mention.
I did what I had to do
And saw it through without exemption.

I agree totally with you. There is too much hatred in football. We can banter and have a laugh about Ars*nal and Chelsea but beyond that we shouldn't be vindictive.

Don't do it yet. Maybe Adebayor is not so useless after all.

With 65 minutes gone I cannot see us getting back into this game. Quite contrary... Sad, really.  :'(

At one time I would agree with you. But Spurs have a new habit of never stopping (fighting to the end). Saying that a draw would be the same as a loss. If we can't win then we must hope that Ars*nal draw or lose while we win out next two games.

Okay, if this was aimed at me.

No memory lose here. I remember that we did not get champions league yes. Do I 'BLAME' Chelsea, no, of course not. They were not responsible for us not making it to the CL. We were because we did not finish 3rd and the that is how it has been decided by UEFA, not Chelsea. Maybe it is Chelsea's fault that we don't make the CL this year too, because they drew 2-2 with us and took 2 points away from us?

I would not choose to watch them if Spurs were playing, obviously but are you telling me you haven't watched a game between Chelsea and Ars*nal? Or did you not watch the CL final when Chelsea beat Bayern?

I did not ask you to apologise so you can carry on thinking that way if you wish, doesn't bother me if you do. I just think that HATE is very extreme and if you truly hate Chelsea and/or Ars*nal then I would suggest you don't love football, even if you do LOVE Spurs.
