With the permanent inclusion of Lloris who, in my opinion, will soon show why he is France No.1 GK and Dembele, once match fit, we should improve both at the back in terms of confidence and up front even without Ade who, quite frankly, hasn't set the place on fire since his return.

Tomorrow's game v the Hammers will hopefully prove this. It would be be a great shame if we didn't get a result.

Now that's an understatement, if we don't win AVB should stand in the centre circle and have his balls removed with a dessert spoon !!!!!!

I am hopeful of a win and good performance, we must beat wet spam!!!

If we lose i think all the should be publically kicked in the grapes, twice in a row, after all its them who are out on the pitch.

THFC "COYS" and that is all I have to say about that!

The confidence will only improve when the defence start to improve, it has nothing to do with the Keeper, its the players in front of him whose performance has to improve. With regards to Ade that might have something to do with the fact that he hasn't exactly been given the opportunity has he? I think that last week proved that AVB has to start playing him and Defoe together, cos if he doesn't his tenure will be in serious trouble.

Well, he didn't do himself any favours with the red card and subsequent three match ban.  :(

When I say "it would be a shame if we didn't get a result", I mean just that. AVB will need to keep his balls until of the season at least.  The only balls worth removing will be the ones that will end up in the Spammer's net.

Riff we understand that, but prior to last week he hasn't exactly had too many opportunities has he, hopefully once he returns he will get some game time, by that I mean I hope he starts some games with Defoe, what he did last week was stupid, but no worse than a lot of other players have done and not been given any colour card for, as I said in a previous post Ade has been sent off 4 times in the PL, 3 times by Mr Webb, who unfortunately allowed himself to be swayed by the Arse crowd. Unfortunately players from all teams seem intent on trying to get players sent off or booked.

God I really wish I shared your optimism Joolz and I pray your right, but if your not then the Dessert Spoon it has to be !!!!

The next 5 League games go a long way to shaping the rest of the season in my opinion. We certainly cannot afford to drop anymore points at home and we really do need to get back into the winners enclosure again, otherwise we might well find ourselves too far behind the leading pack.

I agree, losing to West Ham tomorrow could see the tide turning for some of the AVB supporters. I will stick to my guns and wait till Christmas as promised, but to lose will make my points target hard to achieve. Even a draw is not ideal, but in a derby it is acceptable.

I'm a season ticket holder, and believe me, where I sit there are NO AVB supporters. The 2 girls that sit a couple of rows in front of me have loaned out their ST's and have refused to go to any more games until AVB is sacked. The bloke to the right of me generally leaves at half time because he can't abide the football we are playing. I predict we will get 1 point from the next two games, and then it will be a matter of time before the moron is sacked !!

Well you got that one wrong

It looked a lot worse than it was, but glad he is ok.
I’ve lived a life that’s full. I’ve travelled each and every highway;
And more, much more than this,
I did it my way.

Regrets, I’ve had a few;
But then again, too few to mention.
I did what I had to do
And saw it through without exemption.

I think he is getting better with every game he plays, he has been outstanding in the last few games, even against the Arse--- I thought he had a reasonable game. So hopefully this injury isn't bad enough to keep him out of the Liverpool game cos I think we will need him, I hope AVB keeps the same starting line-up, but we shall see.
