I actually think the last transfer window has been the best for us in many years, some very good signings with 54 mill spent, second highest in the EPL.

I am puzzled as to why buy Lloris and not us a keeper of his ability, to be honest GK is the one area we have quality in depth form first to fourth choice.  Lloris number 1 for me play him in the league and Brad in the cups.
THFC "COYS" and that is all I have to say about that!

I wouldn't have missed the births of my 2 children for ANYTHING!!!!!!
Me neither. It is one of the most important things in your life. Anybody who doesn't want to be there probably wouldn't make a good husband or parent.

Me neither, I was at the birth of both of mine.

Quite frankly, it says something about the depth of quality in our squad if Bale and Dembele are missing and we once again collapse.

Also, what about last night ? Bale played and we still collapsed. We still dont seem to have an overall strong team unit, too reliant on individuals.

Whether AVB can sort out this problem will be the making or breaking of him.

I am keeping my fingers crossed and hope that we get our top players back and that we buy in the transfer window. In the mean time we've got to get through each game; i.e win. Next stop Wigan at home.
I’ve lived a life that’s full. I’ve travelled each and every highway;
And more, much more than this,
I did it my way.

Regrets, I’ve had a few;
But then again, too few to mention.
I did what I had to do
And saw it through without exemption.

No mate, we spent nothing, we actually made £10m in the transfer window. Whilst our first eleven are very strong, our depth in quality is awful.
AVB OUT, AND TAKE LEVY WITH YOU

Well it seems my abstinence lasted all of a couple of days. Just cannot resist pointing out untruths.

Actually we did not. We 'spent' 59.7 million (because when you pay out money you spend it) and we sold players to the worth of 59.2 million. The difference between is net profit or loss if you like. So we actually have a net loss of 0.5 million which is actually sensible financing of the club. (actual player choices is not necessarily sensible, i.e. lack of striker)

So please stop telling us how Levy is going to buy a new house etc. you are wrong, plain and simple.

In addition, yes the squad has been reduced, bloody hell it needed to be, had so much dead wood we could sail to America. But yes some areas do need to be strengthened but that has always been the case.
