Thoughts and opinions?

2 Steps forward 3 steps backwards

Don't want boring Moyes, Tinkerman Benitez, Miserable git Cappello or any of the other has beens that are floating around looking for employment.

What do you mean "as we were with Jol". We were 2nd from bottom when we were sacked and just dumped out of the Eufa cup by a second rate side. He was flaunting himself around Europe trying to get more money, whilst at the same time he had completely lost the dressing room.  The rest I pretty much agree with though !!

No one man is bigger than the club RSS talk to Mr Levy, any time he is slightly threatened he cuts the staff. Once again we are almost there (as we were with Jol) and Levy comes along and undermines the manager and low and behold we are in the s**te again !!!!

Mr Levy better have an absolute diamond of a appointment up his sleeve after this debarcle because he is really starting to test my loyalty to our great club, once again we are becoming a laughing stock !!!!

Guardiola would be my first choice and Slaven Billic my second

Over to you Mr Levy change my mind about you and the board and amaze me with your next appointment !!

We had just finished 5th in the league for two seasons.......... and the reason Jol was hawking himself was that Mr Levy once again had failed to back him and was again as always undermining him IMVHO !!!

He can't, he doesn't have needed qualifications. I'm not sure he has done his coach's badges yet.

Moyes would be the death of us. He doesn't inspire me so how is he going to inspire Bale, Modric etc. Stand well clear of the exits as the door will be opening fast and often. Last season we missed out on The Champions League next season hopefully we will miss out on The Championship but I wouldn't count on it. If Levy hasn't done the deal of the century we are well and truly screwed in my humble opinion.

I couldn't have said it better myself.

Devastating. Where is the loyalty? Harry was building something [apart from the end of season blip and Chelseas ridiculous good luck] we had the best squad since the 70's, we were  capable of some wonderful football and now we have kicked him out with no apparent plan to replace him. Aimless and mindless.
Why would anyone want to be the next manager, the job is short term, its not worth the hassle.
What a joke. Ij ust feel ashamed, Shabby tratmrnt once again ,nothing has changed since we shafted Jol.

For some reason Levy didn't back Harry in January when he wanted a CB and striker. Will we ever know the reasons ?? Either way that would seem to be when all our troubles began. The court case, Capello resigning, and our alarming slump. Harry failing to committ to Spurs when he should have done. I see Levy and Harry both to blame.

As you say, unless he has something big up his sleeve, such as Guardiola, or Hiddink ( which I doubt very much ) then he has made a monumental mistake that we may never get over.

What about the new ground ?? All gone very quiet. Maybe just maybe something big is in hand ??

I think Levy ( along with most of us if we are honest) thought Harry was nailed on for the England job. Not only would he not have had to pay him off  he'd have got a nice big cheque from the F.A for compensation. That of course went tits up and he was left with a manager he didn't want. Presumably with this mindset he had irons in the fire as to a replacement and is probably planning an announcement at the end of the Euro's, some big name current international manager most likely. Either that or he hasn't got a clue what he's doing and he's going to try and pass us off with some no mark like David Moyes, who lets face it took over a mediocre team and managed to keep them mediocre. Not exactly what we are looking for.

It's not a decision Levy has made on his own.  Harry has orchestrated this to happen.  Every time Harry said "Yeah I would take the England job" he lost more and more fans support.  Harry had no loyalty to the club. He never said "we" he always said "Tottenham". At the start of the Euro's harry said to Gary Lineker on TV that he would have taken the job, and then went on to say that Levy's Dad had died so wouldn't be be talking to him for a few days.  What was he thinking? Levy's private life on TV and still talking about the England job!!! Where's the loyalty there???  Truth is Harry is not stupid when it comes to media. If he really wanted to stay at Spurs he would not have said those things!!!

Ideally Harry would have been good to stay but I don't mind that he has left.

I'm guessing Levy already has the replacement ready.

Apparentley Levy wants to talk to Martinez...... Oh well at least we'll have the excitement of a relegation struggle to keep us occupied, rather than worrying about Champions League qualification.

This whole saga is really pissing me off the more I think about it

Its time for change Levy Out

Yes harry did a good job even if , at times i couldn`t understand what the f**k he was playing at !.Some of his substitutions and team selections baffled me .I`m afraid he`s only got himself to blame .Two years on the trot now we`ve flopped badly in the second half of the season .Why  i hear you all ask ? One reason could be that harry had nothing new to tell them .They`d heard it all before. Add to that the fact that he has been touting himself as the next england manager for the last year or so and i think you can see my point . He was offerd a four year deal in february and wouldn`t talk because he thought he was a shoe in for the england job .When that didn`t happen all of a sudden he`s happy at tottenham , got a fantastic job and wants a new contract .Go shove it up your arse harry ! He would have walked in a second if a better job came up (he wouldn`t distance himself from the chelsea job when avb got the sack ) So i say thanks for the memories harry but don`t kid us that you wanted to stay or that you give a s**t what happens to us in the future .
If your not spurs you`re dead to me

Because the chairman wouldn't back him in the transfer window ...period !!!!

the reason we trailed off was we needed some new blood in the shape of a new striker and a CB both seasons and the chairman wouldn't oblige !!!!
