Well, with Chelski in the CL final, if they do win it, 4th place will not be good enough for CL next season, so things really are starting to look bleak. Odds on another season of channel 5 Thursdays !!
How's that? Wouldn't there be an extra place then?

unfortunately since 2005 when everton finished 4th and liverpool won the C L uefa made a rule that in future if  a countries team win the C L and finish outside the top 4 places in their own league the last qualifying team must give up their spot and drop down to the europa league so that said winners can defend their crown hence if chelsea win the team finishing 4th are out .
Ah, yes, now I remember. Assholes.

Don't think we have to worry about finishing 4th

How about this for dreaming at best Ars*nal win 1 and draw the other 2 of their last games giving them 5 points and 70 in total, we turn our form around and get 12 points from our last 4 games giving us 71 points, very unlikely after we have won only a single game in 9 EPL matches, and Newcastle bottle it and implod we could still finish third......

So to summarise we need a both Le Arse and Newcastle to do a Spurs whilst we do a Man Utd!!!

Not trying to be too doom and gloom, but that's looking very unlikely.

Yeah I know but its fun to dream as its escapes the reality of our self destructed season!

Verdan Corluka has an opinion on our recent run of rather underwhelming results. You can read it online, just click this http://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/news/tottenham-slump-harry-redknapp-fault-807877. Got to love that URL  :-[

I read something very similar in The Sun, in all fairness Charlie has a massive point, one most of us have brought up in recent months!  Good to see a player who has insight even if he is slow in his position lol

I think reading between the lines Harry has only just cottoned on to this issue if Cheatski were to win the C/L.

SO COYS we need max points from the remaining games and then at least we have done as much as we can.

Just to put things into perspective... Here's an earth staggering statistic I heard the other day...If Spurs finish in the top 6 this season, it will be for the first time in 47 YEARS that they would have achieved a top 6 finish for 3 consecutive years..

Probably because its the most two sided league for 47 years at least !! If you consider that Arses Chelski Geordies and us were the main rivals, then top six was GUARANTEED I'd say.

We`ve got an advantage being at home on the last day but all 3 teams have got tricky games .Ars*nal have been beaten at the hawthorns before and newcastle won`t be over confident of beating everton at goodison .We SHOULD be too good for fulham but it won`t be easy .Dempsey`s playing for a move and murphy always seems to have agood game against us .Maybe BMJ will do us a favour ?
If your not spurs you`re dead to me
