You could try and feel sorry for him but as i have mentioned earlier he also feigns injury. Not a endearing quality especially in a goalkeeper.
Heres some footage from his psv days

To be fair, and as one of  Gomes detractors, you could make vids of just about any top 'keepers mistakes. And then follow it up with their great saves. But I should imagine Gomes's blunders one would be the longest.

Yup, have seen him. Excellent and there aren't that many around - he seems to off the radar as well - give Levy a call !!

I think ManU and some others were sniffing around him a few years ago. Reportedly one of the most professional players around.

All the Gomes mistakes at WHL have been at the Park Lane   :o

FFS lay of Gomes, he often keeps us in a match when our goal shy players are f**king up chance after chance.

With a keeper that is worked as much as him he is bound to make f**k ups, bottom line is the saves he pulls of often keeps us in a game or keeps the vistors score line down.

Confidence for a keeper is vital right now gomes is knocked, IMO he should be rested for the next match and even the remainder of the season and parks can work on him and we can get him back to last seasons recording breaking standard!

THFC "COYS" and that is all I have to say about that!

Agree buddy that he's a good GK. He isnt getting the protection he had last season and is having to do more. Dont you think his confidence will grow with more games rather than being sidelined?

fair point fella!  I think his confience needs a boost and as his super saves that he pulls of (ones other keepers can only have wet dreams about) doesnt seem to do the trick its up to Parks to help sort his head out and work in training.

We have only a few games left and hardly any players left either so I think he should be rested and come back for the last game of the season and end on a high.  Gomes probably knows he should be rested (nice term for dropped) and that is adding to the pressure IMO.

Dropping or resting will be the worst decision we could do. If we want to keep him next season then he should play and we should all get behind him........................

Then when he misses it we can stop it.....   ;)
