Just watched it now via your link. There are some very good points made by Levy regarding moving to the Olympic Stadium. Although it would pain me to move from N17 and away from Bill Nicholson way, the lure of the Olympic stadium with no running track is extremely tempting. The redevelopment of the Crystal Palace athletics stadium could be key to the decision being in Tottenham favour as Levy said, it would can be used 365 days a year unlike WH popposal for the Olympic stadium for athletics which will only be available for athletics use 20 days a year.

Levy is a great chair man for the club and I trust him to do whats right for Tottenham Hotspur

Your obviously not a real Spurs fan. Since when were Spurs an East London club. When all this bollocks was going on did you not here the Park Lane singing " you can stick your f**king Stratford up your arse". We have spent the last 100 years deriding Ars*nal for moving to North London, and now you think it is a great idea we do similar. Levy can have my season ticket tomorrow if he wants to commit this sort of treachery.

I pent a lot of money purchasing balloons reading " say no to straftord" as well as banner.

Why are we still debating this ? It's a done deal West Ham will move in no matter how much Levy stamps his feet and throws his toys about. The Olympic committee want West Ham, Newham Council want West Ham, even the Mayor wants West Ham. Christ most Spurs fan want West Ham to have it. The only people that don't agree are Levy and Barry Hearn and he wants it to be left to crumble into dust. Oh and I should imagine quite a few short sighted Hammers fans cant be impressed, particularly when they find out how much they will have to pay for a decent pair of binoculars.

Your right there as well. Wet Spam are now in the championship and as such even with the parachute payments won't have as much dosh. They can still back out of it at which point Levy will take great joy in p1551ng off the supporters of THFC and moving to pikyland

Also don't forget what Newham are doing is actually not allowed + they're one of the poorest boroughs in the country. This is going to go on and on, what ever happens with this ground will take years, and if West Ham get it then they'll be dead, if Spurs get it then there will be uproar from some fans, last thing this club needs, I wish London never got the olympics.

Pretty much, the Olympics are one of the biggest money-wasting ventures in the world; No Olympics in the past 30 years or so has actually made money for the place that hosts it; I've always thought they need to just choose one place and stay there; hold the Summer Olympics in Athens and the Winter Olympics in Park City, Utah, or somewhere else where there will definitely be snow. It's just stupid to keep making new places build enormous stadiums and spending hundreds of millions of dollars... for a month-long sporting event. Don't get me wrong, I understand the prestige that comes with it, but seriously; communities are losing so much money on this.

As to the Olympic Stadium in London... I know we're a North London side. I want to see us continue to be a North London side, and continue at the Lane with some renovations. But I also understand the need for more matchday ticket revenue. So as much as I don't want us to move to Stratford... It's not the 'Dons all over again. It's not like they're moving out of London entirely. So... I dunno. I feel like it's a bit much to be saying that they're abandoning the fans by making this move. But then again I'm just a silly american, what do i know  :up:

Don't be hard on yourself mate. It doesn't matter where your from, your entitled to your opinion as much as me or anybody else. The problem is they are abandoning some fans, yes it will make it easier for most of the fans to get to and from games, but, we'll be doing the exact thing that we hate Ars*nal so much for. The NLD would become a joke, the ground would have some stupid name, we'd have to go through a shopping mall to get to games (well those who attend would). We would be a laughing stock in the premier league and as I said before I'd rather we went back to finishing 12 and 13th than move to East London.

As for the olympics..... it's going to be a complete joke, my local roads can't even cope with the traffic at the moment! Now they want to introduce a VIP lane? on a two lane road  :2funny: It's going to be a laughing stock.

Mate the grounds an absolute s**t hole, the areas one of the worst places in the country and wouldn't be missed if it just got blown up.... The grounds old, the roof leaks and we have pillars in the way, but despite this I love it! Strolling up to the pub and kebab shop a few hours before kick off and then taking my place in the Park Lane is priceless.
