Nightmare on Keane Street...... guaranteed to put the willies up Arry and Co during transfer-window time....

Mwahahahahhaa

can't help but think Keano's enjoying this.... payback for all the games Arry went with Defoe instead, perhaps ??

gasped at his cheek for a pay-RISE for signing for Brum.... the sheer audacity of it... balls of adamantium, that boy  :P

I watched the Birmingham Aston Villa game yesterday in a pub and i must say Bentley had a blinder! And he was rewarded with Man Of The Match, i hope this loan spell continues with him in this form he may even get recalled back into our squad. YID ARMY

Wouldnt have done his transfer value any harm then, good lad putting in a top display whilst in the shop window, either way THFC should come out on top with this deal.

As for the Keane situation....... lower yr wage demands please theres a good little fella, lets not have these power games eh
THFC "COYS" and that is all I have to say about that!

Sky sports are reporting that Keane's move to Brum has fallen through. Demanded to much money I believe.

Really ? I'd heard the main stumbling block in the Brum move was that Keane didn't want to move his family out of London and Birmingham didn't want him to commute. On that basis Sunderland would seem like a non starter.

Thought it was wages and contract duration demanded by Keane that put of Brum due to his age?

I think its got a lot to do with Niall Quinn at Sunderland and the Irish connection

yeah.... cos never mind that Keane is not a like-for-like replacement for Bent, he's IRISH !!.... thats all the criteria both Keane and Quinn will need, never mind club status, geography, wages, team-role etc.... FFS theyre both Irish!!....

Robbie Keane has branded Birmingham's failed bid to buy him as a publicity stunt.
The midlands club pulled out of a move to sign Keane after failing to agree personal terms with the 30-year-old striker, having had a £6million bid accepted by Tottenham.
"It was never going to happen," said Keane, who also insisted he knew nothing about reports linking him to West Ham.
"I haven't heard anything at the moment but we will just see what happens.
"But like I said, that Birmingham stuff yesterday was a bit bizarre with a statement coming out from them, which I found very strange.
"A deal was never really on the table, so I just think that Birmingham was looking for a bit of publicity really."
Keane, who joined Celtic on loan this time last year, admitted he did not know whether he would still be be at Spurs by the end of the transfer window.
He told Sky Sports News: "I'm not too sure - we will have to see what happens.
"There are still a couple of weeks left, so I'm sure we'll find out by then."

"It's been my life, Tottenham Hotspur,
and I love the club."
