I hated him. But will now judge him on his performances. We need him badly. Could turn out to be a coup for us. Get behind him I say.

The only reason why we are signing him is  the fact we play Milan in the Champs League. I not all that fussed with signing Beckham, I would rather sign a striker.
COYS!

I cant believe that. We are not going to pay £60,000 a week, or whatever it is, for an outdated scouting report from Milan. Christ you can get old Milan videos down my local market for a fiver.
I say give the guy a chance. We will know if he can still cut it within 10 minutes of his first appearence. He cant be coming for the money, he must have a few quid to tide him over till the MLS season starts. My opinion is, he wants to get fit and play a few games, and Harry wants him for the example he sets, not so much to the senior pros, but the younger players will learn a lot from him not nessecarily skill wise but how to conduct yourself as a proffesional footballer. For all the criticism Beckham has recieved nobody has ever said he doesn't apply himself in training and I think it is that application that Harry wants to instill in our squad.

if Levy is serious about getting Beckham on loan, then he seriously needs to pay the going-rate for a superstar.... that doesnt mean that Beckham is greedy (he could stay at Galaxy and pick up the same wedge for doing nothing) but that he will not be taken for a ride.... its that simple..

this is a minor matter and Levy will have timed the negotiation to conclude on Sunday... why concede every point too early ??

as for you new 'Gallas-lovers' I'm sure you were all very gushing in your eager anticipation of a near world-clas CB with huge intl experience joining the club ALL THE TIME before he finally arrived and started playing well.... I'm sure he is very grateful for all your support in all those weeks before the Ars*nal game  :2funny:

keep on thinking  simple thoughts, my dears...

a super star???? Hold my hat while i vomit into it Keown. If you take the time to read other peoples posts on this forum you will have noticed that i personally as well as others decided to give him a chance before he ever kicked a ball for us. So you can take that smug look of your pointy little face straight away laddy.  :nods:
