Keown, I'd like to see your response if/when we don't sell Bale in January or the summer

the only thing that may stop the |Bale-sale is if Benzema gets swapped for Clooney at OT.... but might still sell to another club if another super-striker becomes available in January eg. Fabiano, Pazzini.. maybe even Anelka..

Ya dont cut of your race horse head if you want to run in the grand national, selling bale would be teh same for our club.

We need to keep players like this not sell even for silly money for them to benefit another club.

I remember early last season on another forum many wanting to get shot of Bale I stood by my views saying it would be a mistake as we have seen what he can do the previous season and once he gets his form back he will only get better as he still has much development to do and that is still the case.

Bale must stay no matter what it takes!

THFC "COYS" and that is all I have to say about that!

Well bale just showed again why we should keep him. Regardless we must keep him even if he sulks to the max. I dont care what happens. Just freaking keep him!

He's priceless for us in my opinion. We have plenty of players that we don't need; he's not one of them.

Spurs has as much chance of keeping Bale beyond this summer as Roy Hodgson has of not being sacked by Liverpool by Friday...

What makes you so sure? Why should Levy be in any rush to sell, regardless of how much is offered? Madrid, Barcelona or whoever could offer the kitchen sink, but it's not like he's reaching his expiration date. He's young. He'll be just as valuable next year, maybe even more. So why would we be rushed to sell now just because of a good offer?

We have NO reason to sell him, we dont need the revenue to buy players we need, what will prevent us getting some big name goal banger is the wage demands not teh transfer fee.

We dont need to sell Bale, dont want to sell Bale and shouldnt sell him it would make no sense at all either businesss wise or football wise, and I think Bale is happy here.

How many EPL players have moved to a big Euro club only to flop and hit a huge blip in their carer, next up for that Rooney

We need Bale to get us to the golden 4th spot again this year! That is key, and it gets back on track by him and VDV smashing Everton at The Lane on the weekend!

lol... you lot sound like your trying in vain to convince yourselves that Mr Flavour of the Month is gonna stay no matter what..... this time last year you would have struggled to recognise him in a Spurs shirt..

every player on the planet is available for the right price... I'd say a 40m euro bid or equivalent in p/x will see Bale off soon enough.... and really, we do need a world-class striker to score for us regularly more than a world-class winger who is less likely to score hatricks every other weekend...

or maybe.... convert Bale into a striker.... I reckoned 2 months earlier that he could play the role.... the guy has now scored more goals regularly than any of our wonderfully average strikers...

Absolultly! Our wage structure will scupper and bid to sign a top striker. Bale stays!

so when Madrid come in and offer Bale 150k a week.... no doubt he will insist on always being paid 50k a week instead....  :D

Dont mind Gareth since he is the one who wants to join R.Madrid not our G.Bale

Quote
Gareth Bale scored a stunning second half hat-trick at San Siro against Inter last night but it wasn't quite enough to pull Tottenham Hotspur back from 4-0 down.

Clubs   across Europe have already been monitoring the Welsh international's   situation at Spurs and after a breathtaking one-man show, Bale has been   quick to calm any rumours of a move away from London.

"I don't see a team in my mind that is not Spurs," said Bale to Mediaset Premium.

"I don't have another club in my mind in Italy, Spain nor England. I am fine here at Tottenham."

Inter   were thought to be targeting the versatile left-sided player even   before last night and it will be interesting to see if Bale and Spurs   can turn down bids that might come their way in January or next summer.

Good news indeed!
