Aside from Bellemy who is premiership proven, Fabiano and Suarez our only reallistic transfer target. Rather than fabiano id take Suarez or Bellemy. Either proven old player or young hot blood.

Or FORLAN~

I've read in a few places that we could possibly be set to make a move for him. I personally am not sure he would be right for us and would cost a bit more than Harry would be willing to pay.

I just wondered what everyone else thinks?

If you aint read about it theres an article on it here:

Welcome to the site buddy....

Few of us have spoken about this, It would be a great signing but I dont see it happening. Thought he said he was too big for a team like us...

I have no idea what a DDOS attack is but it sounds a bit like a girl with large breasts attacking us? Is there any video of the attack as i would like to watch that one day?

They was mentioning this on Sky sports news again today, saying " Tottenham have been encouraged to make a 14m bid for Fabiano"

14m is a lot of money for a 30 year old striker imo..good player on his day,but,..is he going to get what we need....25+ goals a season..he has only manged to score more than 20 league goals twice in his carrer so far, 29 for Sao Paulo and 24 for Sevilla..South Americans dont tend to do to well in the EPL..its a expensive gamble if you ask me.

I think your right I mean sure he would do a good job for spurs both in the League and the Champions League and may get 15-20 goals but with his age and the inflated transfer fee Harry might be better off looking else where for a better deal

But Fabiano is a world class striker, he is better than 2 or 3 we have got already.

Yes, he might be world class, so was Robinho. Sorry, but Brazilians don't seem to cope with English weather.

You've got a point but Gomes is not a very typical bling-bling Brazilian if you know what I mean.

But gomes was a bit shaky at first... so you both have got a point there.

Who knows if Robinho stayed at city how good he would be this season

How much are we asking for Crouchy or Keane? and how much did we buy them for, reports are we value Crouch at 15m, we paid around 9m, and payed 14m for Keane, who was 29 also by guess, and now we want between 8-9m for him. Everything is relative, no disrespect to either player but it has to be said Fabiano is a much better player than both, so 13m really isn't that bad and is good value for such a quality player at 29 he still has 3 or 4, good seasons in him, if you look at other top EPL strikers 30 isn't that old.

Its starting to look like its the salaries that are limiting our buying capacity. For champions league standard players, they now have to be looking at the 100k plus being offered as standard by the other champions league qualifiers in the UK.
Our pay structure is limiting us to sign older players on longer contracts, or unproven "up and comers".

Fabiano played for Sevilla last night in CL, so he will be ineligible to play for anyone else there this season....

douibt Levy will sanction a bid now, especially as we have not sold any current strikers..... therefore it looks like we will get either the Swede Toivonen 6'4'' 24yrs, or maybe even Amr Zaki on loan...

looks like Remy is off to L'OM....
