Kranjcar ruled out for rest of season
« on: April 18, 2010, 09:35:05 AM »
Niko Kranjcar has been ruled out for the rest of the season with an ankle injury suffered in the FA Cup semi-final last Sunday.   The 25-year-old Croatia international damaged ligaments during his side's 2-0 defeat by Portsmouth at Wembley.
Spurs boss Harry Redknapp said: "The courage he showed was amazing to play on. He'll need a nasty operation."
The loss of Kranjcar will be a big blow to Spurs as they battle for fourth place and a Champions league spot.   He has scored eight goals for Spurs since signing for £2m from Portsmouth in August 2009 and would have been a key figure in Tottenham's difficult run-in.

I have no idea what a DDOS attack is but it sounds a bit like a girl with large breasts attacking us? Is there any video of the attack as i would like to watch that one day?

Big big blow losing Niko for the season with all the other injuries we currently have. Not only that, he has been in decent form too. At £2 million Harry got a quality player who has popped up with some great goals - vs Stoke stands out for me and some flashes of indiviual brilliance from the Croat. Bargain of the season anyone??

8 goals from a player who isn't always first choice is very pleasing. Couple that with the competition we have in midfield, that shows us Kranjacr's determination not to be content with a place on the bench. When Modric was injured Niko got a good run in the side and i thought played well he is a top player and superb technician when he's on his game.

Hopefully he can make a swift recovery and concentrate and regaining his fitness for next season as we battle it out in Europe, he won't be there in South Africa this summer of course.
