Micah Richards

I've been banging on about him for quite some time, and now more than ever I think we may finally buy him. A couple of years ago we tried to sign him but failed with a 3mill bid,  but this time I think City will let him go because Zableta seems to have forced him out of the team, City are trying to bring in Daniel Alves, and its a world cup year which means that Richards would want first team football. He's a great young player and I believe he would be a great addition to our team. Plus with Bassong and BAE going off to the african cup of nations, Woody and King not be able to train properly I think 'Arry will definately go after another Defender.

What do you lot think?

I have always liked him, a player with load of potential, at times has his lapes but hes only young. i prefer him at RB rather than CB, my only question is do you think hes better than Woody or Daws?

Is it me or does it seem that his development has somehow stalled. Two years ago he was playing regularly in the England team, now he isn't even called up.

Well the signing does make sense seeing as he fits every piece of the jigsaw. Young, check. English, check. Prem experience, check. Defender, check. Oh, and of course bags of untapped quality.
