Who would you rather sign in the summer out of these two?

Baines the better defender in my opinion, and Bale the better attacker.

Baines. He's more experienced and not such a risky buy imo. The price on Bale is too high.

I say we should go for Baines has well he may be young but he has got exoerience, As for Bale they he is good but inexperienced and if we were going to buy him then we are taking a massive risk.

Ive heard Bale will choose on his future next week so we'll see if he comes to us then. I've also heard that Baines will either go to West Ham or Everton. We are prefered by Bale as he knows he'll get in the first team and play more games and also he has a neat left foot which is something we are missing. Because of this I'd say Bale.

Baines is cheaper so I would go 4 him and Bale, I don't like him, you can tell he's an arrogant twat heading 4 Man Utd. But with Bale being only 17, that intrigues me although he probably wouldn't be the most honourable guy and would probably leave us by the time he's 20 or younger anyway...
Get Moussa Sissoko In Spurs!!!!

And come on City, break that bloomin' top 4!

Baines as said before, proven defender in the preimership

Bales has the potential but untried and will cost a fortune

Bale is fecking around too much with his future. He can't decide where he wants to go. If we are not his first choice let him rot with the Goons!

Hmm toughie this.

Bale could be an absolute superstar and if he does leave in 3 years then we will get a hell of alot for him.

Baines will be cheaper but he is nothing special. Bale may not have much expirience but he has done well in the Champ. Baines is overhyped IMO after he scored one or two long range shots.

I would have liked Baines for his defensive and attacking qualities. But Bale has huge potential and I have to say I'm very excited to see him in a spurs shirt. Either way both would be quality signings.

Bale and Baines are two quality players but we can only sign one of them and I think we will end up landing Bale tho he may be young the lad has got tremendous skill.

I wonder how those posting anti-Bale comments on this thread view it now in the knowledge of the price paid?

For one im happy we potentially have a solution to a problem spot (maybe two spots) at last.
