What are your views on Stalteri? as I follow Werder Bremen and he is an ex Bremen player i was interested to see what you think of him as he seems to be starting to settle at White Hart Lane? and will he stay at Spurs?

I doubt he'll stay to be honest mate. He's served us well but will never get in the side ahead of Chimbonda. He'll prob go at the end of the season.

I think he'll likely be gone in the summer. Obviously I think highly of him because he did well with Werder and he's Canadian (like me :D) but I think he's too far down in the depth chart both at right back and his natural position of centre midfield, and he might be interested in going to Toronto FC, the expansion MLS side near his home city of Brampton (which is practically a suburb of Toronto now :p).

He's still better than Radzinski IMO.

Winger! Christ.

Never impressed me, cost us alot of points last season. Solid but not good enough. He will be gone in the summer. With Ifill as our cover.

He played right-centre-mid for Canada every time I saw him with the national team. He is good down the flanks, too - he's just not a defender. CanadaSoccer.com lists him as a mid. I wouldn't have any qualms about playing him at right mid if I were team Canada's manager. But Canada's right back is usually either Mike Klukowski (Brugge) or Chris Pozniak (Toronto FC). I'll start a Canadian footy thread and talk about it more there :) :)

He'll do for the squad until we get someone better, but I can't see anyone moving in front of Chimbonda for the RB position; so who better are we going to get as back

well we have assou ekotto as well but he plays on the left usually, we might be able to try him out on the right because i think hes right footed.

and we have a player called dorian dervitte, i know he is a defender but i dont know where abouts in defence he plays

No Ekotto is left footed and Dervitte is a CB.

Lee would probably be the other alturnative at right back when ekotto is back

Yes, Lee was the only other alternative that I could think of. He has impressed me with his defending this season and maybe he could do a better job with his final ball if he played on the right.

So if Stalteri is shipped out, it would leave Assou Ekotto, Lee and Chimbonda. I don't think that is enough full back cover. So it's Ifil or someone else to come in, or stick with Stalteri.

As I posted earlier, I prefer Stalteri to what, admittedly little, I have seen of Ifil. So unless we can bring in someone better than Stalteri, I'd stick with him.

I reckon we'll bring in a left back in the summer. Cause our left side is a major weak point. Lee is ok, but his final ball is poor (i dont think he has an assist to his name yet) and if he stays he'll be switched to cover the right side.

I think you could well be right about bringing in a left back. As an international I'm not sure that Lee would want a covering role; maybe the move to Roma could be re-ignited.

If he left, we would still need to bring in full back cover.
