Benni better than Berba!?

I just had to share this with you, made me crack up this morning.

Hughes believes McCarthy's greater contribution in the league of 16 goals, compared to Berbatov's 11, makes his striker the standout performer - particularly as the former Porto striker cost just £2.5million.

"They are saying Berbatov is worth £30million - so from that you can do the maths on how much Benni is worth. Berbatov has had a great season - but not as good as Benni," Hughes told the Sun.

"I say that because Benni didn't cost anything like as much money and he has scored a lot more league goals."

Hughes is an idiot, I think he actually convinced himself this is true. Berba does more than just score he creates aswell, all Benni does is hang around the six yard box waiting for the ball. There's only going to be one winner tonight.

Seems to me like, that this "idiot", as Dani quite right put it, is just trying to boost the confidence of his players. Who, I think are already ****ting their panties imagining a raging Berba with the ball at his feet in their half ....

There is one winner that is gonna be berba he is just a joy to watch and he scores more goals and makes assists has well. If Hughes thinks that benni is better than berba he needs to think again fool.

Well, both players have had a very good first season in England but to me they play different style, so it's hard to say which one is better.

What a loads of cobblers! Skill, vision, strength, possession, assists, magnificent goals....Berba has it all. McCarthy isn't exactly a name on everyone's lips at the moment is he? Just jealousy imo. Say no more.

Well, bit harsh but meh.

If Mccarthy has had a better season than Berbatov, why hasn't Everyone been talking about him? Thats right, because Berbs is a superb performer every match, is involved in LOADS of goals, gets tons of assists, and scores quality goals. Mccarthy hangs around in the box and has scored a few open nets.

McCarthy's not crap, but to say he's even in the league of Berbatov is absolutely ludicrous! Berbatov is IMO the best Bulgarian player in any position since Hristo Stoichkov (lyubokick might not agree :p) and quite possibly the best outfield player from the entire Balkans region, better even than the likes of Charisteas, Giannakopoulos, Žigić, etc. He's got moves, he can finish plays but also create them, and he's modest about it all, too - he's a fantastic team player! Suffice to say, he's better than McCarthy. Way better.

berbatov's link up play is awesome, and him and keane do this really well both can be out and out strikers, can come deep, and can create and see a pass. this alone makes these two players amazing, they have the ability to swap roles which most strike pairings dont have

beni has been a good player for b'burn, but he dosent have the versatility of our forwards

^Nor does he make an attempt to create legitimate chemistry between himself and another striker or a midfielder. That's something I like about our top two, Keano and Berba. If they ever had a 2-on-1 rush against me if I were a Prems defender, I'd be right spooked because you never know if one is going to shoot, fake, or pass to the other! I think we could say we have one of the top 3 1-2 punches in England with those two, if not the best.
