Hey All

We've been linked with him before, and watching him when he does actually play i think he would be really really good for us, i dont think he's high profile enough to be on massive wages, so i think he would be prefect to solve our left back problem. He gets forwards, actually has a LEFT foot to cross the ball.

I was quite impressed with Gardner at left back yesterday actually, Roche looked aweful, i always worry about Gardner and centre back but at left back he actually looked ok, got forward a bit aswell.

Bridge to join us? Does not get many games for chelski but I think he will fit in at Spurs the bale rumour wont just go away.

Wayne Bridge would solve our left back problem and he would be a good signing if we did buy him.

I hope we do get him. He's been there and done it with the best, i'm still not convinced with Bale as he's totally untested and is a massive risk nad the price tag of 10 mill + is just crazy.

Meh! Bridge - I dunno. Is he really good enough? He never seems to stand out in a game for me. But maybe that's because he plays for Cheatski & doesn't get that many regular games ???

Someone posted on myspace that they had it on good authority that Bale was coming to Spurs for approx £6m. Inside info apparently. Dunno what to believe though, there's so many rumours going round, it's doing my head in!!

He's untested in the Prem, its alot of money for an untested player, i saw him play this weekend and wouldnt say he was amazing

I don't think he's been played regularly enough this season but I guess we could do far worse. Rocha was very unconvincing last night (but in his defence he is really a central defender.) and we do desperately need someone to fill the gap. Wayne Bridge tho... hmm not sure

Bollocks he has been playing here for 5 years! Great left back and would be a brilliant signing. Whether he will leave is a diff matter as he signed a new contract recently but I would love him at the Lane.

I think Bridge would be a quality signing, i thinks hes under-rated.

Should start above ashley cole for club and country, can some1 tell me what ashley cole has ever doen in his career? Hes yet another Rio Ferdinand... played because of their name and profile.

I think Bridge is the best left back we could get in the summer, defo would be a great signing.

Great left boot, good cross on him, not so sure of him defensivley!

Dam sight cheaper than Bale probably would be!

I still think we have to give Ekotto a good chance to prove him self in the English game, still young.

Unfortunalty his season was cut short, fingers crossed he comes back fit and healthy - might even play this week v Blackburn!! woop woop

We got Lee too, who has improved in his 2nd season
COYS!

All depends on BAE and Lee, if we lost either of them, then I would say yes, he's a cracking player, better than A. Cole and would be a good addition, if it is true that Pascal is leaving for Chelsea then I would accept Bridge in a swap, plus money of course! ;)

RB's are quality a plenty, LB's are harder to find!

I don't think bridge would be too cheap.  He's been getting games recently due to cole's absence and has impressed.  Also, it is common knowledge that we can't do business with Chelsea, so i'd expect us to have to pay over the odds for him.  other than that, great player with the rare ability (for a left sided player) to cross the ball.
