How many more Midfield Players do we need?

   Whilst I think Lallana is a very talented player, do we really need to sign yet another midfield player? Surely our priority signings must be in other positions or am I the only one who thinks this?

Read today that no bid bid has been made for Lallana, so no worries on that score. There so many rumours atm that we will probably sign another 7 o 8 players  again. LOL!

Whilst I think his pace and goal threat would be an asset for us, at £25 mill + I doubt it is going to happen.

        Joolz, To be honest I don't think that even Levy would be stupid enough to buy another 7 or 8 players and try and integrate them, especially after last seasons purchases, to do so would be a disaster waiting to happen, but who knows? We can only hope that this is just paper talk. IMO, We definitely need to buy 2 maybe 3, but, they have to be players to strengthen positions where we are weak,(ie) central defence, and full backs!! and they have to be players with PL experience.

If he replaces Sigurdsson or Dembele, I would say that would make sense. but we don't just need to add more players  to an already packed area of the field. I agree there are other areas that need addressing first, but I think we have lacked a bit of creative spark in midfield, something will need to be done about it.  I think that we have missed that bit of special creativity to make things happen further up the field.

Saying that I can't see us paying out for him as well as solving the other problems, so probably just have to see what happens after the world cup.
