As always loads of negative speculation surrounding one of our key players being wanted by many and likely to go to a CL club.  If we believe the crap then apparently Lloris will be off to either PSG, Roma or Monaco with the club apparently looking at Petr Cech as a replacement as he is unlikley to be Cheleas No1 next season.

Firstly I want Lloris to stay, secondly if Cech is not good enough for Chelsea then he is not good enough for us, finally if Lloris moves on GK is yet another position that will be in a dire situation, with Gomes gone we will only have OAP Friedel who lets face it was pretty poor last season when getting a game.

I don't agree.

Cech was probably the best GK last season. If they decide to bring back Cortois, who has just had an awesome season with Ath. Madrid, and would then become the best GK in the premiership, then having Cech as the 2nd best GK would not be a bad thing for us.

Personally I would rather keep Lloris, but if he goes, Cech would be the best replacement we could hope for.

        I am sorry but I have to disagree with your comments re: Friedel, how can you possibly say that he was pretty poor in the few games he had last season, remember a Keeper is only as good as the defence he has in front of him, and lets be honest, our defence was pretty poor at best and abysmal at worst, he played a total of 9 games all season 1 PL,2 LC & 6 EL, Conceded 1 L, 2 LC & 4 EL, a Total of 7 goals in 9 games. If that is pretty poor, I dread to think what your summation of Lloris's season was.
