With Sherwood now going at the end of the season, who do you think/want to take over?

Place your bets now. :hide:

I have no idea what a DDOS attack is but it sounds a bit like a girl with large breasts attacking us? Is there any video of the attack as i would like to watch that one day?

Why would any manager take on the Spurs job is beside me!, there treated crap!, have to follow a chairmens way of conduct!, have to use players givern to him not the players he actually wants!, He is given impossible targets in lightning time to achieve them!, there given contracts that are not worth the paper there written on, They will be thrown to the lions at the first time of trouble.
We all know and have done for some time that van Gaal will be taking the reins in the summer so thats my guess!, but I kid you not he will probably be going in the opposite direction inside 12 months!, there is no way he can compete against the Chelsea,Liverpool, City, Arsernal with the crop he has now and Levy has already said there is no over haul in the summer, Is the new manager so blind or deluded to think he has total backing of his chairmen? lol,!!!,  your going to have to show me some real class football with some world class players before I think otherwise!!!, Hes to another Ramos, Santini, Gross,AVB!, a puppet for Levy to clip his strings and move onto his next robot!.

For me, Tim was only ever a stop gap, between the disaster that was Levy/AVB whoever was ultimately to blame.
Tim now seems to have lost heart, though to be fair he isn't bitching.
Van Gaal would seem to be the one, t he hasn't yet denied it is maybe a sign

Is he going? I think that depends on what you read. Also; it is not impossible for us to finish in the top 4, then what? We still sack him?

According to Spurs - official information - they will valuate the situation at the end of the season. And rightly so.

I think that if we chuck H.Redknapp a huge brown envelope that he might consider coming back!

Realistically though I think the deal for Van Gaal is a done. Heard a rumour that Ruud Gullit all but confirmed it to Dutch media.

Pochettino and Laudrup are being mentioned also but I don't think either are good enough.

Still think that Voice, really?

If we have learnt anything from the disaster of the last few years, surely it is that what we had was by far the best manager we have had for the past 30+ years. The fact that you think he would be the last person we would want is funny touching on madness.

I am not saying that he would be top of my list, but there are only a handful of managers in the world who would be capable of something equal to or more than what he achieved. (especially working under the constraints of Levy)
Maybe next year...

Dimexi, you are quite right that HR based on where he took us was teh best manager we have had in the last 30 years.  However I would not want him to return his achievements are past and HR always looks out for HR!

Regardless I appreciate what he achieved for us and he certainly set a bench mark which even though EPL records points tally for us has been surpassed, on the field we have gone backwards and we are a million miles away from getting into the CL something HR did and we will never forget that.
THFC "COYS" and that is all I have to say about that!

It doesn't matter what I think or what you think; he won't be coming back. No matter how much the fans think he is or was. Of course I give him credit for what he achieved, but now he has gone.

You are right it doesn't matter what we think. But you use 'we' as if what you are saying is true for everyone. Also, I did point out that he wasn't my first choice either, but someone who has the credit you say he desrves, should not be put in a sentence with 'the last person we want'

What we do want and I am pretty sure I can use 'we' here, is a manager who has the skill, temperament, authority, tactical awareness, guile, control over the squad and team, man management (particularly for Levy) and a love or at least genuine respect for our club.

The problem is we have little chance of getting someone like that. Can you name 3 managers who would fit those criteria? and then 1 who you think would be the closest match and who we could actually get?

Maybe next year...

I agree Metal, I just find it frustrating when someone who really made me enjoy watching us again, is disrespected so often. The phrase about the grass being greener couldn't be more apt.

Maybe next year...
