Pre Season Friendly

The first ever game for SNFC came against League Two team Shrewsbury town. A proud looking SNFC captain DC76 lead the players out to a rapturous applause from the home fans.

The first couple of minutes SNFC withheld early pressure from the Shrewsbury attack, the seemed a little nervous. After the 10 minutes of pressure the boys found their feet and started to pass the ball around.

The first chance fell to alma in the 13th minute only for him to hit the ball over the bar.

DC76 was winning everything in the air at the back, no way was he letting anyone get past him today.

The breakthrough came in the 35th minute. Keane on Spurs controlled the ball 40 yards from goal. He ran it down the line, then passed a nice one-two with Daniisco. Dimitar B. was found with the following ball, he then curled a delightful ball into the box for alma to head in. He caped off a brilliant SNFC move. It was also the first ever goal seen at The Mansion.

In the second half SNFC game out on fire, the Shrewsbury lads didn't know what hit them. Chance after chance went begging. First Biggs just missed with a 25 yard free kick, then DC76 narrowly missed with a header from a corner. Rob skied an effort that was asking to be slotted home.

But then in the 53rd minute Rob made up for his previous miss with a brilliantly taken goal. Berba's girl spotted Rob in the box with a nice chip for him to hit low and hard past the keeper.

SNFC should have scored more in this game, but manager Daniel will be delighted overall with his players first ever game at The Mansion.

SNFC Surprises Division Two Side
Non-League Paper

Rob and Alma scored as all 20 players were used in a 2-0 surprise victory by brand-new club Spurs Network FC. The Conference side didn't just win, they completely dominated, as the two keepers only had to make a combined total of - get this - ZERO saves. None whatsoever. All four attempts Shrewsbury made on goal were off target. The back five looked solid, especially left-centre back DC76 and defensive mid Dimitar B, who all but completely shut down Shrewsbury's aerial game. Dimitar B. also was the offensive general of SNFC, getting one of the game's two assists and completing more passes than any other player. Rob was a dynamo up front, creating chances left, right, and center, and scoring the game's opening goal.

Shrewsbury's manager was unavailable for comment.

SNFC manager Daniel, on the other hand, was all smiles after the match.

"It's very rare to win the first game in club history for a new side," he says. "And it's even rarer to do so against a team in the division above your own. But to dominate the way we did in this one is almost unheard of. I'm extremely proud of my team for performing well beyond expectations. Our defence was almost airtight, and our offence? Look at the stat sheet. The stats speak for themselves."

Sky Sports Breaking News:  Dannyn99 has sent out a plea to SNFC manager daniisco to put him in the team.  He told reporters earlier at The Mansion that he was flabberghasted at not even making the bench and expected to play next week.

Great victory and a solid performance. Everyone is just building up their fitness.

Berba's Right Peg: "We have been working hard in training with the Gaffer really putting us through our paces, I think it showed in the game as we lasted far longer then Shrewsbury."

BBC managed to catch up with SNFC 19 year old starlet & Chelsea target Biggs after the game

Biggs: " I'm not surprised we won. especially with me in the starting line up!"

That was all he said and ignored the rest of the questions and walked off
