I've said it from the start we are just not good enough.

If anyone thinks we will finish 4th then you must be on drugs.

Norwich was always going to put players behind the ball, saw that in the 0-0 with City.

Oh Blackjack are next League game is Cardiff, but I get what you mean.

And Cardiff are also fighting for their lives so expect them to want the result more!
THFC "COYS" and that is all I have to say about that!

If Cardiff win then Sherwood will go at the end of the season and we won't or can't make 4th.

This is not just a blip, it was a bad performance from just about everyone. Well done to Norwich, they took their chances, we didn't make any to take. Shambles!! :tickedoff:

Sherwood said a few weeks ago that we could lose 5 games and still finished 4th, well, 1 down & 4 to go and 11 games left.

I cannot understand why Ericsen was not playing!

I cannot understand why Ericsen was not playing!

It doesnt make sense leaving our most creative midfielder on the bench the entire game.

So that is what we are going to do? Count down to 5 and hope we get top 4 spot?

I really dont think anyone is looking to do that, come on Voice you play at being clever use some intellect, or maybe you are trying to be funny and failing! SpursJoolz was simply quoting what TS stated, a statement many were not impressed with at the time!

Bottom line 6 points is now the gap between us and 4th and the gap between us and 6th is less!

That was one of the worst 60 minutes i`ve seen from a spurs side in the last 6 years .The last 30 were`nt anything to shout about either .The back four is a complete shambles .Naughton , rose and dawson(it pains me to say it ) are nowhere near good enough .The only players that at least showed any sign of wanting it today were lloris , dembele and lennon . f**king atrocious and we can forget fourth >:(

Sorry bud disagree with you about Lennon I think he is playing poor!, far to many times he goes wandering off, he needs to stay out wide, he spent way too much time in the middle or over the otherside wit Chadli!, Naughton who is not good enough himself was is isolated, were so unbalanced with inverted wingers, even Chadli didn't do a great deal, the game was crying out for a creative midfield player like Erikssen who can pick a pass. The most enoying thing was we played way to many route one balls instead of getting our passing game going, we have played the last two games now with a chilling slow tempo which is giving our opposition the time to close us down in our own half, we must play short quick pass and move to drag our opponent players out of position. This is what Nowrich did to us!, they kept running down the wings and splitting our defence, Danny Rose loses the ball far to easy while well forward and then they exploited the empty space left behind. :-[

Once again due to the inadequacies of one of our so-called full-backs(namely Danny Rose, who thinks that as a full-back you can take on one of the opposition wingers in your own half, I might add that Kyle Naughton is no better) we conceded what turned out to the winning goal against a side that was clearly playing for their and their coaches future. I was somewhat surprised and dis-appointed that TS didn't start with Eriksen and Soldado, and dare I say it, we did miss the marauding runs of Walker, losing Capoue so early in the game didn't help added to the fact that so many players were clearly off their game.
Unfortunately I think we are now looking at finishing 5th or 6th, because 4th is now clearly out of reach, but one never knows, miracles do happen, don't they?   :-\ :-\ :-\

Not to bang on about it, but I have been saying all season that Dawson is not good enough. Same goes for Naughton Rose, and most of the time Walker. They are the reason that our goals against column looks so bad.
Without an inspired Lloris, who knows what would happen. The big worry I think is he will be off in the summer.
When Bale left, we lost the only match winner we had. How many times did he win games like yesterdays for us ??
Our midfield is made up of players without pace or vision. Adebayor looks like he's had enough again, and who could blame him. What with Dawson pumping aimless balls upfield, and Lennons inability to deliver any sort of decent final ball, is it any wonder we have been so bad so many times this season.
And as for Soldado/Lamela at 60 million, dont even get me started.
Man Utd have the right idea. Give Rooney 300k a week, at least he looks like he knows what he's doing.
All in all, we are in a mess, and Sherwood doesn't really know what to do about it either.

You summed it up perfectly except about TS bud, He in my opinion is trying to make do with what he has!, I honestly think he was  trying to keep a strong teaj for Thursdays game, and that in doing that unde estimated the threast of Nowrich!, he desperatly wants to win the europe cup.

Yes, as things are atm, Lloris could kiss us all "au revoir" in the summer and who would blame him! But we are not there yet.  Sherwood blows hot and cold and he is more likely be the one to be off and whislt on this topic, he is the one who stated that he did not need to strengthen the squad in Jan, so in effect he has made a rod for his own back and trying harder with what he has, he must! Lessons from this game are obvious, let's hope he sees them.
