That changes everyday with every paper you read. It is not long to go before the beginning of the season and then something has to come out that is truthful.

It's all gossip and heresay. I heard Bale was offered a much improved contract. If thats true and he wanted to stay surely he would have signed and put this all to bed. I'm sure at the root of it there is a greasy little agent just thinking about his 10% with no regard for his clients best interests or any notion of loyalty or honour.

That is true. But there is more to it than that.. I am hoping he stays.

I am not fussed if Bale stays or goes now, long as we have a squad that has th equality to go for what we need top 3!

We shouldnt sell to Real out of f**king principle, even if they pay on installments the spanish economy is on its arse and who is to say their bank wont go bust etc!

To be truthful, I am bothered and I would be gutted if Bale goes. I believe that if stays, we would be a lot stronger than if we replaced him with even 2 x £35M players. Unfortunately the ball is not in my court and like all  of us Spurs supporters I have to think ahead without him until and if we are told otherwise.

The squad is getting stronger in talent by the week and that's just about the only consolation at this point. If Levi brings in more (class) players, I could be tempted to get used to the idea of Bale not being there. Results would hopefully speaks for themselves.

In all honesty, if you were Bale, wouldn't you want to go to Real ? A probable 80 million over next 6 years, better players to play with, bigger crowds, CL football, limitless revenue opportunities, better weather.... the list goes on.   Oh, and his agent pushing for it.

To be honest if I was that young - and believed in my talent - I would be happy to stay another season and see what Spurs can offer with this new squad. If I was that good then I would know that I would always be wanted. If I didn't have faith in myself and think that I was a one season wonder then yes, I would cash in now.

From what they are saying on SSN it all hinges on how Real will make the payments. Their President has started whinging about the price  too, so it may yet all fall through. Apparently another meeting is scheduled for Tuesday.

When I look at our new look midfield against Espanyol, and the other players we are linked with, then I am certain that Bale will be going. It seems that AVB was intent on a complete overhaul of the team and squad, and that Levy has backed him, albeit part funded by the probable sale of Bale.

If we can get the Ajax duo of Alderweireld and Erikson, plus Contrao, and one more striker then our rebuild will be complete. Most importantly it will be AVB's squad, and lets see how good they are this season. COYS !!
