It hurts me to say so, but I cannot see us winning this game. Something is wrong with our players again, they seem tense and at times terrified.

I thought Spurs had most of the game and if we had lost or drawn it would have been a crime. Brilliant game and a thoroughly deserved win for us. I wasn't that impressed with City.

You must had been watching a different game to me mate . Until the substitutions were made, we looked toothless going foward , the passing was a bit wayward and City looked slick on the counter.

No doubt the subsitutions and change in formation changed thr game.
Holtby showed great energy and impetus, hudds range of passing was a lot more direct, which in turn increased the tempo and stretch Cites defence a lot more. Pushing Bale and Dempsey higher and wider gave our midfielders a lot more space to control the tempo of the game. Hate to criticise, but Ade really let the team down today. His lack of effort was there for us all to see today

But, don't remember he's 'not good enough'.  What a result! I agree that for once we got our substitutions right (although I had my doubts when rather immobile Huddlestone came on).

In the first half I thought we battled well. Second half we were a better side.

Vertonghen actually got an elbow in the face that went unpunished by the ref who I thought had a very poor game. He also let a terrible challenge by Nasri on Walker go as well.

I must admit I didn't see that one coming at half time. Holtby & Huddlestone really shook things up, and Bale moving out wider gave them something to think about.
City for me, despite all their individual talent, are a team in disarray. Had we not conceded that stupid early goal, then I think we would have had a better first half, as it allowed them to sit back and stifle us.
Good to see Defoe scoring again, especially as Adebayor looks finished to me. Assuming he is fit, surly Defoe must start the last 5 games. His pace and movement alone are a plus for us up front.
Once again it really is all in our hands. We must not slip up against Wigan, to keep the pressure up on Arses and Chelski.

I was also at the game and Pie boy was spot on untill  the changes Spurs looked out of it and were making no impact on City.
 
The guys who came on changed the game and AVB got it right!
