Yep, the black police federation have requested that the local police arrest any Spurs fan for using the YID word. For those who don't know it the word YID is a term of endearment in Yiddish. To refer to a person as yid, is like calling someone mate in English. However I doubt the stupid bunch of ****ers are even aware of that. If it's ok for a black man to call another black man "******" in what way is different for a Spurs fan to call another Spurs fan Yid. These Liberal fascists are doing my head in.

I am not saying I disagree with what you are saying here. But recently I was watching a TV programme on race and abuse and the Jewish community find use of the word Yid - or at least the way it is portrayed by fans - as offensive.

Another point; the word "YID" was used as a term of abuse from away fans against Spurs. Spurs supporters took the word and made it their own. But it is not appreciated by the Jewish community.

All this PC bollox does my head in, its going too far, surely Spurs supporters can call each other YIDS as we dont find it offensive!

We can be called Brits short for British, but call someone from Pakistan a Paki all hell erupts, blacks can call us white boys but if we return and call them black boys we are racist!

To be honest, it seems black people (sorry, people of African and African-Caribbean origin) can can call white people anything they want and they can call each other ******s and nigggas and there seems to be no problem with that in PC departement.

Can understand the view of the others but whose country is this?


Haven't heard Levy ( an Essex born Jewish businessman) getting upset by our support and use of the word.

Regardless of how the word is or is not used, it means FRIEND, PAL or MATE. That's to say if I called you "sausage" with a harsh tone of voice, should the word sausage be banned from the stands of a football stadium. It's about time people of all colours. nationalities and cultures started to man up, and about time the silent majority told the Liberal fascists to f**k off and shut up !!

If you had actually read what I said I wasn't criticising  or saying I didn't agree but just pointing out some stuff.

I did noticed that on Thursday they (the spurs fans) were shouting YID a lot louder; which made me smile.
