I will now join the anti AVB brigade, I have given him 10 league games + League Cup + Europa Cup, and I am not convinced.I have just watched the biggest load of CRAP I have seen in a long time, and I am sad to say that if we continue to serve up more of the same I shall not be staying up to watch it. Why did he take off DEFOE, surely a BLIND MAN could see that Dempsey was having very little impact on the game(I have yet to see him have an impact on any game that he has played in) Why not start with Adebayour and Defoe up front for chrissake, at least give them a chance to play together. In the past few years we have been used to SPURS playing entertaining Football even if we got beat we at least played entertaining stuff this garbage that they are dishing up under AVB to put it mildly is CRAP, and I for One am sick of it, if we play like we did tonight against Man City and the Arse we will get absolutely hammered so AVB remove your digit from your RECTUM and start picking a side that will at least give us something to cheer about instead of the crap you have them playing!!!!!!!!

AVB didn't have an answer to Wigan's formation and commitment today and for the supposed tactical genius that he is that is very concerning. I must agree with Mr Finch why is Dempsey in the side? He does very little and really really really isn't of the required standard to be playing for THFC, he's supposed to be playing the Van der Vaart role and I'm afraid he isn't fit to clean VDV's boots let alone fill in for him (and he always looks so bloody miserable)!!!

This smacks of Chelski last year good start then run out of options, ideas and ability I was starting to think he may well prove me wrong but the last 3 matches have served to strengthen my initial ideas that AVB is a load of s**te !!!!

Personally I think AVB is a good manager. He needs a few more players but overall he is doing a good job. Chelsea panicked when they sacked him; it is because of his that they won the European cup. Chelsea’s loss will be our gain. Give him time and support.

We just lost against Wigan at home. We also had lucky draws against West Brom and Norwich at home. We scraped an undeserved win against QPR at home. We just got knocked out of the league cup after dominating the 1st half against Norwich. We all know that realistically we will be mid table in the next two weeks, and the football is boring. We have a habit of going ahead and then sitting back and keeping our fingers crossed. AVB blankly refuses to play a 4-4-2 and will happily play under performing players to suit his preferred formation.

Do you REALLY believe AVB is doing a good job ?

Yesterday's performance was the worst of the season.
To take off Defoe and not Dempsey was a bad decision by AVB
in my opinion.

Our fans booed the team off at full time.

AVB certainly isn't gaining support and those giving him
a chance like me are probably walking a tightrope now.

We dont have depth in our squad, Dembele was a great buy but without him playing we dont create, Sigurdsson who was touted as a direct replacement for Modric belongs in the championship or the scottish PL.  Dempsey has been dissappointing a replacement for VdV he is not I expected him to be a much better signing for us.

We are so lacking a striker, I would like to see Ade play with Defoe as last season they had a few good games togther.

I am not ready to hang AVB yet, its still very early days the next 2 games will be tough.
THFC "COYS" and that is all I have to say about that!

I think people are being a bit unfair here. I went to the Wigan game.

First:-
1.   Spurs had 5 missing players.
2.   Wigan have beaten some good clubs over the years.
3.   On Match of the day on Saturday night Alan H said that taking the last part of last season and this season Wigan would be in the top 5.
4.   Spurs haven’t managed to replace Modric. Hopefully we will buy in the transfer window.
5.   Don’t forget that when Alex Ferguson took over United he was one game from getting the sack. It was the West Ham game that turned it around for him. He is not regarded as one of the greats.
6.   If you are not going to give managers a chance then we will never achieve anything.
7.   Wigan are a good little side who have beaten some top teams.

I thought Spurs battled well against a good side. Don’t forget that Wigan beat Harry’s Spurs. Give AVB a chance. What Tottenham and AVB don’t need is for fans talking out their Ars*nal.
Let us judge at the end of the season and in the meantime back him. If given the chance he could be one of our great managers.

I have faith in AVB.
I’ve lived a life that’s full. I’ve travelled each and every highway;
And more, much more than this,
I did it my way.

Regrets, I’ve had a few;
But then again, too few to mention.
I did what I had to do
And saw it through without exemption.

You're having a laugh right comparing AVB to SAF, please tell me your having a laugh...... you must be saying Wigan are a good side too ....please !!!!!!

If AVB can't get the squad we have motivated and playing proper tactics in order to beat Wigan then he should hand in his keys and leave now !!!!!!!

Your reply isn’t logical. Presume you are talking about Ferguson? Ferguson is 70 while AVB is in his 30s; so therefore you can’t compare like with like. Roughly the same age AVB has achieved more than Ferguson. Don’t forget Ferguson was a manager of a Scottish team. Which is enough to put Ferguson on the back burner.

That is rubbish and shows your lack of knowledge in how football works. Are you seriously saying no bottom club (and Wigan aren’t a bottom club) can’t beat a top 4 club? Look through history and you will see a lot of anomalies. Under AVB’s management we are 5th (level with Everton on 17 points). His motivation helped beat United at Old Trafford; which even the great Harry couldn’t manage. And as I said Harry had also lost to Wigan. He has got 5 top players out. Considering that Spurs battled well.

Where you at the game?

Voice,
These are The facts,
1. Yes we do have 5 players out injured (Correct)
2. Are we the only Club with injuries??(No)
3. Do we have DEPTH in our Squad?(No)
4. We sold both our PLAYMAKERS(Modric-No choice, & VDV that was DUMB)(Correct)
5. Replaced Modric with Dembele-That will prove to be a REALLY good decision in the FUTURE.(Correct)
6. Replacing VDV with Dempsey-NOW THAT WAS A REALLY DUMB DECISION, He couldn't lace VDV's boots.
7. Taking off Defoe instead of Dempsey-Even a blind man can see that he(Dempsey) isn't good enough(That was STUPID)-Correct
8. Unable to find a way of beating a second rate PL side like Wigan (Not good enough)

9.I DO NOT THINK THAT THIS MAN IS WORTHY AND HAS THE NECESSARY QUALITIES  TO COACH MY TEAM
    ENOUGH SAID!!
