Yeap The Sun has released this story.  TBH he was not the striker we were looking for and way past his best days.

I think Bentley should be sold and Dos Santos too, I have alwasy defended DS as he has sublime ability and couldnt understand why he wasnt getting game time... well after watching the first team train DS was by far the most lazy player on teh pitch literally waiting for teh ball to come to him putting in f**k all work rate so he can go.  Keep JJ as a handy utility player.

  Newcastle got him on a freebeeee, so can anyone really imagine levy paying anything for him. Anyway, whilst we Spurs supporters see Spurs as a bigger club than the toon, I really don't think players do. What's more, will we pay more than them, probably not !!

With regard to the Demba Ba just a one season wonder scored a few for West ham then left has a two month window in his contract with Newcastle where he can go he is another player Spurs should not touch with a barge pole!!!!!
 
If you want quality you have to pay ie Hazzard to Chelsea 34m and 100k a year! problem is   we aint in that leauge!!!!!!!

We may not be in that league, agreed, but if we stopped paying silly money for people like Gomes Bentley & Bassong, as well as wages for some of the others, then we would be able to raise our pay structure I am sure.
For if we don't then we will never get anywhere.
