Pavlyuchenko to Anzhi?
« on: December 28, 2011, 01:05:00 PM »
According to Pavlyuchenko's agent, his protegee could join mega-rich Anzhi Makhachkala in January. Just to remind you, they recently bought Samuel Eto'o.

To be honest, it really seems that the agent is trying to inflate Pavlyuchenko's price. After all he is only a mediocre footballer and so stupid he hasn't managed to learn English in three years. I know some people refer to him as Super-Pav but I'd really like to see him pack his red underwear and fly to another club...

I agree Riff but we need to replace him before we let him leave, we are a little lightweight with numbers up front anyway so letting him go could be a mistake !!!!

According to Pavlyuchenko's agent, the club have decided to extend his contract for one more year. Pavlyuchenko's contract was due to end after current season but the club decided to take up the option to extend player's contract.

According to his agent, it was done a few months ago. Very confusing.

A lot of the stuff we are reading is paper talk.
However that said the transfer window is getting closer to the end,
Harry is busy clearing his name and no match winning deals yet
to materialise.

So I ask is this it or will there be a rabbit pulled from the hat at the end
of the month.

I still think we may get Remy. There's a lot of denials and the player saying he's not leaving, but if we put in a decent bid something might happen. Harry wouldn't waste his time going to watch him if he didn't think we had a chance of getting him.

As much as Pav hits teh occassional wonder strike he is not that super, he has been given chances and he hasnt really happened.  Time to ship him on but we cant until we sign a replacement as we are basically out of strikers...... hell even the ones we have left you would use that term very loosely especially Defoe!
THFC "COYS" and that is all I have to say about that!

I am really glad it's done at last. Pavluchenko was never a work tytan, mildly saying. Tbo,I could not have seen any progress during all ths years at Spurs. Never been his admirer and happy he's out.
