Superb today.

Superb today.

Just looking back at the original thread and having a laugh. It has become obvious by now that Walker is probably one of the best right backs in the country and will almost certainly make the position his for England by the Euros. He offers speed, power and an incredible work rate. Is defending is getting better game by game and will shortly be absolute top notch !!

Agreed he is certainly taking his chance and although his attcking play is stonger than his defending he is improving !!!!

He reminds me of a better Hutton.
Lively going forward and probably stronger in defence.
Could make this position his own with a few more games even when
the "others" return to fitness.

I know when he was on loan at Villa last season their fitness coach said he was the best athlete he had ever worked with. Villa fans were gutted when he left.

I honestly belive I'm better than Hutton. One of the worst players I've ever seen, the fact we paid 9 million for him makes me physically sick.

i think his defending isn't incredible but he has enough of an attacking mind to make up for any defensive mistakes

Class act, with a bit  of work on his positional sense he will be a good right back, even so his positioning can be a bit lapse as he has the pace to track back every time.
