Adebayor + Falque join on loan
« on: August 25, 2011, 09:46:02 PM »
Tottenham have confirmed the signing of striker Emmanuel Adebayor on a season-long loan from Manchester City.
Earlier in the week Tottenham boss Harry Redknapp had confirmed the club were in talks with City over a loan move for the 27-year-old forward.
Adebayor fell out with Manchester City boss Roberto Mancini last year and spent a spell on loan at Real Madrid.
Spurs have also signed Spain U21 midfielder Yago Falque on a season-long loan from Serie A giants Juventus.

I have no idea what a DDOS attack is but it sounds a bit like a girl with large breasts attacking us? Is there any video of the attack as i would like to watch that one day?

Pleased (somewhat) with Adebayor, but I don't know what to think of this Juve kid. Go and get some grit to midfield and a centre-back who doesn't fall into pieces after every bloody game.

I agree... not sure why we're taking youngsters on loan, and we def. need another player to help cover at the back. As to Ade, i'm very pleased with the loan signing. i assume we're not paying all his wages and he's a proven world-class goal scorer... Were i able to find a bookie in the states who actually bet on soccer, i'd put a 20 on him to win the golden boot (he's currently 28:1 - not a bad little pay out on a 20.)

I need to go youtube up some highlights of this Falque kid, if any exist, but i'm not sure why we're bringing in a winger when we already have our wings set in stone, at least the starters, and plenty of players who can cover for them, even if Pienaar is injured. Still, i trust Levy to know what he's doing.

Falque? WTF? He played for Villareal B. We have better youngsters than him.

Apparently we are now in talks with West Ham about Scott Parker. Looks like we will be having a busy week as we have still not moved much dead wood on and I can see a couple more coming in. The Sun reckons we have gone back for the Brazilian lad too.
