He was mainly watching Osvaldo, would much prefer Forlan.

Forlan is getting on in years a bit now and his price tag would be huge, not to mention wages.

How did we miss out on Suarez?? Nice to see we have been linked with a stack of players today all around the 15yr old mark, so they might be good in say 5 years or so FFS.
THFC "COYS" and that is all I have to say about that!

it's ok to say were gonna keep all our best players, but we all know that if a player wants to go then he's pretty much got no future at the club.
I think the 1st thing to do is get people like Keane +Bentley off the books. He also needs to think about the CB's, Woody and King as good as they are, they just don't play enough and we need consistinsy at the back. I would also get rid of Pav, i know some won't agree with that but he's not good enough in my opinion.
We need to bring in a solid keeper, top class striker and maybe an injury free CB. Walker looks like he could do a job for us a RB. I could give you a long list of names we should bring to the club, but i'm sure there wage demands will put an end to that( and no CL)

We have a massive amount of players to clear out, the problem is finding them homes. Selling players for the value the club puts on them is very hard. Now we have blown out on CL and very probably Europa cup (well let's hope so) attracting the type of player we need will be impossible. In short we are pretty much back at the starting post, especially if we lose any of our superstars, which to be honest is almost a certainty.

I was horribly slagged off at the start of the season on a few forums for predicting what would happen this year, however I got it spot on. A combination of bad tactics and Arry not being able to get the players heads right has cost us dearly. No I'm not calling for his head because there isn't anyone better we could get. That said, here is my my prediction for next year. We will start the season badly and Arry will fall out with Levy.

Watch this space !!

I think you two guys (Baldie and BigV) are right. I think frustration (aka resentment) will creep in and Harry may well walk.

Interesting thoughts. Nobody seems to predicting improvement - maybe those rose tinted glasses have been put away now!

I think finishing 6th will mean that is vital we bring in good quality signings with the money we will get from the sales of Modders, Bale and Sandro. (don't want this to happen but fear it is inevitable).

Strangely enough, I dont think Bale will be such a loss as his game of late has not been good - he seems afraid to take on the RB. Sandro has been a revelation so I hope we keep him, and Modders has been our best player by far. If we do lose players, I hope they go abroad as I dont want them terrorising us in the EPL

Been thinking again after the disaster on Saturday and feel we have an amazing MF, but need to offload Bentley Jenas and O'Hara. Krankers will probably go anyway regrettably as I prefer him to Pienaar and Rose is one for cover for Bale who will probably go too. Will need fresh legs at the front, so maybe a clear out of all four (incl Keane) and get 4 out and out goal poachers in and another strong CB so Daws/Kaboul have competion - Ledley and Woodgate have to go regrettably, and Gallas could just be cover as CB No.4 as he doesn't have too long left. Bassong was good in his first season but has failed to impress this time out. RB nad LB look good with both Kyles probably coming back. With more going out than in, as we do have amazing youngsters that would be criminal to let go, it will not require too much cash to get top quality players in on the basis of showing these guys we mean to bounce back at the first opportunity - none of this slow build for the future crap - lets go for it immediately!

If we sell the deadwood then we can buy.

The problem with Spurs is that we really need some squad depth so letting more go than bringing new faces in could backfire us as it seems we are one of the most injury-prone teams in EPL.

We're nearly as bad as Sunderland!

Must be the training regime as  I hear that both Crouch (back) and Modric (hip)  are already a doubt for Tuesday!
