Maybe time to put this thread to bed now. A lot of interesting comments have been made with obvious passion, but in the spirit of end of season enthusiasm, maybe its time to concentracte on the future in a positive light................unless Brum goes horribly wrong lol!

Quite contrary, I think that we should open a thread (à la Taxi for -name-!) for each player and member of the board as well. And maybe some fans as well...

I know this thread is old and well put to bed. But I thought it worth a browsing over in light of some of the comments made recently in regards to AVB. It seems that there are some fans that are never happy, even when it was so good.

It makes me think that some people cannot tell the wood from the trees. Are you sure that we are playing the worst football ever? Because some of these thought that this title went to Harry a year or so back. Makes me wonder whose judgements can we trust? Who is able to make an honest, informed and thoughtful appraisal for how things actually are at the moment.

With the exception of his love affair with  the press which became embarassing at times, I will admit that I did enjoy Arry's time at the club until the England job episode and the 10 or so game nosedive. Anyway, his big mouth wouldn't fit in a taxi, a bus would be more aprropriate!

I just wonder why other clubs in the PL or the other leagues are not falling over themselves for his services!  Perhaps he is too big for anything lower than the PL?

Perhaps he should apply for the Scotland job with his mate Joe Jordan. Old pals together again. LOL

There is a growing clamour on several Spurs fan sites and comments on Sky Sports that Harry has lost the plot with his team selection, substitutions, tactics (or lack of it) and that people are sick of the excuses and praises for the opposition all the time. There is a serious sense that he must go. Am interested to see if there is a similar feeling among members here.

Seeing as I've only seen this thread and it has been put back into life I thought I would give my two pennies-worth.

I wasn't surprised Harry went. From the beginning he was only a stopgap. Harry thought short term, was a mercenary and had no interest in this club (other than using it to promote himself).  This was brought into stark reality when it was suggested that he became England manager. After that we started losing games. In the end he was left with nothing.
Another good question is; there have been a lot of manager vacancies but nobody has gone in for him. Why?

That's because your definition of a Spurs fan is someone who only ever says positive things about the club. Mine is someone who actually attends the games and knows something about football. So in your eyes I am not a supporter, and in mine your not one !!

A Spurs fan.... I don't rate fans, fan is a loose term for someone who likes...... and like is not a particularly strong emotion,  you can be a fan of a tv programme, not really fitting term for following a footi team all your life.  (I am sure someone will quote the meaning of fan from a dictionary but i am simply giving my interpretation and view.

 I have respect for true supporters, in my eyes a supporter is someone who stands by their club supports the decisions the club makes, but doesnt always agree with it, wants the best possible from each match, transfer and investment. A supporter doesn't need to attend matches and attending a match certainly does not define who is a supporter and who is not.  Fickle fans attend matches as they live down the road, many of us have geographical issues and other matters that consume our time which make it impossible to attend matches. 

I and a few others here have a reasonable amount of money invested into THFC by way of shares, so I go as far as supporting my club by investing my own dosh into it and follow every development and other club activities.

Just because someone doesn't agree with your constant doom and gloom bollox doesn't mean they know nothing, it simply shows they have their own fcuking mind and opinions, of which will only be changed through factual events and circumstances witnessed/experienced not influenced by your constant doom, gloom and poor speculation.
