Blackpool, Wolves, West Ham, who's next? Oh yes Wigan......... I got slated for criticising our situation after the Blackpool game, and the Wolves game. But its deja vu yet again. And no doubt after Wigan. Never mind, we have City away, Chelsea away, Liverpool away so no doubt some clown will say we will get 9 points from those because we "play better against the top teams". Do me a favour. This is bad as t its baddest and its too late to put it right for a run now to catch up and get a CL berth. No doubt we will lose Bale and Modric at the end of the season - probably Hudders and Lennon too and why would Kranjcar stay after the way Harry has treated him. Cant see us getting any top players in - and who would want to come to WHL!!!??? Anyhow, on a plus side, we have had a lovely adventure in the CL this season - something to tell our grandchildren about.

Only Newcastle have drawn more games than us this season. Only wolves and birmingham have drawn more at home and we know the strikeforce those guys are operating with.  Pav played well enough when introduced but giving him 20mins per game isnt enough. Harry is failing to ring the changes that we need to improve in the EPL. His favouritism is costing us dearly. Our CL run is only covering over the cracks of a failed domestic league campaign. Failure to requalify and a similar mediocre league run next season will place the writing on the wall for Harry, thats if Engerland dont foolishly come calling in the meantime.

Holt, I think it's totally fine as a supporter of any team to question the manager. We'd sound like Ars*nal supporters if we blindly supported everything despite results being way below par.

I'll even add that it would be interesting to consider what would have happened if we didn't finish 4th last season. We're out of the Carling Cup and FA Cup. We're struggling to beat teams at the bottom end up the table. I'd go as far as to say that people would be publicly questioning Redknapp's position.

I think without a doubt the Champions League has glossed over what has been a fairly disappointing season for us. I often question Redknapp's use of players and I think many of us feel that he has his preferred player selection that sometimes don't seem to be based on performances.

I'm going to spew some generic overused points here. We were rubbish when Redknapp took over. Those were dark days! you know the points/games stats we keep hearing from pundits. I think our expectations are now extremely high. It takes time to build a team who can consistently win against teams playing every game like a cup final. Look at Ars*nal. They still don't have it and they've had the stability of the same manager for a very long time.

We've improved so much under Redknapp that people start getting upset with Modric for misplacing passes when we're pinned inside our own half against AC Milan. I'm really disappointed with the result today, but under Redknapp we've reached the QF of the Champions League when most people expected to watch us get absolutely demolished in the early stages.

I think Redknapp has been fantastic for us. It isn't easy supporting Spurs and it's lack of consistency that is so frustrating. But think how much worse it used to be. I hope Redknapp doesn't take the England job and stays on with us for years. He knows we needed a striker and apparently they tried hard to sign one, but it just didn't happen.

Ahh, but you can still make me laugh GK. Starting to recover from my post-match funk now. No, the loss wasn't all Defoe's fault but he sucked today...and most of the rest of the season too. It stings when your heroes let you down.

Well presented Spursfan !!! - good well laid-out appraisal - I enjoy reading posts like that. I feel that 'Appy 'Arry has had his own head turned with talk of the England job. He is always so complimentary of every coach he is asked to comment about (cementing relations early for the 3 lions job?). His tactical skills had previously been superb with subsititutions just at the right time and changing the line up to fit the opposition - now, I think we all agree they are lacking when we were all screaming for the same changes during this match. I find it ironic that Bale has signed a new contract today, even disturbing - surely this pushes up his retail price - good asset building for Mr Levy's balance sheet, but I suspect Bale will be sold in the summer as we will not make the CL again after the latest set of results as I predicted after Blackpool. I just hope he goes overseas as would hate to see him taunt us in Prem games. Yes, 'Appy 'Arry turned things around for us, but he has peaked and we are now falling back. Images of Spurs players alongside Utd, Chelsea, Woolwich and even City on kids card packs will be a thing of the past. Its all rather sad really. Still, it has been an interesting 12 months I guess.

No need to get upset. I'm not insulting your team. I'm not talking about the squad Wenger inherited, admittedly did very well with, and then dismantled. I'm also not talking about their "state-of-the-art" stadium or anything related to finances.

Wenger has built from scratch more than 1 title-winning team/squad, the latest of which a mere 6yrs ago (as opposed to FIFTY YEARS AGO for some clubs) was probably the greatest  club team this country has ever produced, even going thru a whole season undefeated - that team is still known as The Invincibles.....

in the 6yrs since they last won the Prem title, they've had to conserve their finances to paying-down a colossal debt of 300m+ pounds...... which they've  dont admirably and simultanaeusly securing CL football every single season (even reaching a CL Final 4yrs ago) as well as regularly challenging for the title against clubs with huge net-spends....

'They still dont have it' is made redundant by the above FACTS.... Ars*nal have been there, done that and bought the t-shirt many times under Wenger.... Chelsea wont win the title this year, I guess that constitutes 'not having it.....for a very long time' in your particular time-frame of measuring success..

Yeah it was dissappoing today but we are still well in the race for 4th place..we are only 4 points off 3th place ffs..even if City win at Chelsea, they will still only be 7 points ahead of us and we will have a game in hand on them too...yes we have to play said 3 teams away but we have went there and win before so it can be done...look at the home games we still have.. Stoke...Ars*nal...West Brom...Blackpool and Birmingham all very winnable games, add in the fact that the teams above us will no doubt drop points at some stage along the way too.

The ability to put away teams thet are fighting for their lives is the problem....IF (and that's a small word with a very big meaning) we had put away one of the chances that we created in the first 20 minutes I have no doubt that we would of gone on to score more goals.
 
I hear what is being said about Redknapp and his sometimes blind faith in certain players and also his occasional strange tactical desicions, but remember where we were before he came and where we are now !!!
 
Yes we are really making it difficult for ourselves at the moment to take a place in the top four but how many chances did we create against West Ham and Blackpool how many hit the woodwork or were cleared off the line ?
 
You can't blame Redknapp for these as far as I can see he has set up the side and told them what he wants, he has tried to sign more clinical finishers without any luck and done pretty much everything he can media wise to 'big up' the side !!!
 
So I offer this radical thinking that its not 'Arry that's the problem its the players that are letting 'Arry down and with a bit of luck and composure things could be very different.
 
I personally know that I prefer being in the last 8 of the Champions League and still in with a shout of finishing in the top 4 of the Premier League, than being where we were before 'Arry came !!!!
 
GK won't understand this as he's a Gooner but the rest of you must realise that this is just a normal type of Spurs season, ups, downs, joy, tears, frustration and exhilaration...........That's what supportting Spurs is all about !!!!
