Hello, I was wondering if any of you could answer a few questions ahead of Sunday's match at Molineux please?

Where did you think Spurs would finish the season back in August, and has this changed now?

After hearing a lot about the hype in the media and from other Spurs fans, is Sunday's game less important than  the Milan tie in midweek, and do you think you will be resting any players ahead of Milan?

Gareth Bale and Rafael Van Der Vaart are both out of the match, do you think this will affect your chances of a win on Sunday?

As you will know Jamie O'Hara is on loan to us at the moment and has already impressed. Would you like him back at Spurs for next season, or are you prepared to sell him?

Who do you think will be your most dangerous players on Sunday?

Who do you think will be Wolves most dangerous players to face on Sunday?

Where do you think Wolves will finish the season in May?

Thank You.

if youve been impressed with Jamie O'Lloyd, then you really do have problems in your squad...

PLEASE take him and his chavvie 'wife' to Wolves permanently in the summer..

(I actually like the way Wolves try and play.... would much rather teams cloggers like Stoke and Blackbum were due foe relegation instead)

My opinion (for what it's worth)
1.I thought we'd finish the season in Stratford!
2.It's no less important in the grand scheme of things but in the 'here and now' Europe is occupying most of our thoughts.
3.We have a strong squad which is perfectly capable of losing at Molineaux with or without vdv and Bale
4.I think O'Hara will be sold and it won't be a terrible thing for Spurs if he is but he's a trier
5.I'm hoping Defoe will be our most dangerous player but he has to improve on current form
6.Wolves' most dangerous player against Spurs tends to be someone we've not bargained for (remember that 1-0 win at the Lane?)
7.I think Wolves will finish above West Ham.

I expected us to finish 4th or 5th. I still think that's where we'll end up. Hopefully 4th.

I think injuries have taken away the luxury of being able to rest players and still put out a full-strength team. Bale and VDV being out is unfortunate, but you would hope we have a squad that can deal with it.

I like O'Hara, but I don't think he would get regular football for us. I'd be fine selling him as I think it would be best for both teams.

I think Lennon is probably going to be our most dangerous player. I expect Kevin Doyle will cause us some problems. I'm not sure what fixtures you have coming up to say where you'll end up. Hopefully you stay up though.

Thank You.

Thought we would finish 5th and I haven't changed my mind.

Sundays game is more important than Wednesdays game. We are never going to win the CL but we have an outside chance of getting 4th spot.

Any side who had Bale and VDV would have to be effected by their absence

We loaned out Ohara and kept Jenas, madness  by Arry. Yes I think he is a good squad player.

Most dangerous players on Sunday certainly won't be the strikers, in actual fact there not even worth marking. Lennon culd tear you to shreds if your not careful.

Most dangerous Wolves player is the goalkeeper because he will stop us from scoring.

I believe you may JUST avoid relegation, but it will be damn close !!

Oh, and as for Sunday I think you may will  get 3 points

we kept Jenas cos even Arry knows he's 1 of the best CMs in the Prem...... simple as.

Jenas rejected Inter Milan last season, and had options with Juve too.... O'Hara to my knowledge was never courted by any of the top Italian clubs (but I could be wrong   )

I really hope when Arry leaves that they dont give the job to Baldbloke ( allegedly a 'supporter' of Spurs  :D)

I have quite a good and varied sense of humour, however saying Jenas is one of the best central mid fielders in the prem is just a joke I don't understand. Either that or you nothing at all about football !!

listen Baldy...... top-class managers for the last 6-7yrs have rated Jenas as an excellent midfielder, people like Jol, Ramos, Ericsson, Capello and even Arry have picked him (regularly at club-level) whenever he is injury-free..... and a chap called Mourinho wanted him at Inter Milan 2yrs ago...

if you think you know better than any/all of those... then the only joke here may in fact be you.

Baldbloke you are not permitted to disagree with GK's views at all, never ever ever and doing so will result in all types of terrible things happening to you both within the forum and away from it, like being called Baldy, bet yr sorry now fella  :2funny:

While I rate Jenas as a useful squad player and I do value him at Spurs as part of our squad he aint one of the best otherwise he would dislodge one of our regular starters.

PS Ramos one of the best PMSL yeah he did great for us and every team he has goen to since
THFC "COYS" and that is all I have to say about that!

Metal.... Ramos has won not 1 but 2 Uefa Cups, 1 European SuperCup (beating Barcelona), Spanish Cups, as well as getting Sevilla to regularly challenge for the La Liga title (even once to the last game of the season)... all at an unfashionable and not wealthy club that sold 3 of its best players at the beginning of his reign: Baptista, Reyes and Sergio Ramos...... as well as win the League Cup for some lesser-tier English club in his only season there

I think you could say that yes, he has been 1 of the best coaches in world-football during the last 10yrs......

his record overall demands it.

So not only do you rate Jenas you think Ramos was a good manager. Words surpass me, so I think it is best I stop now  :-\

Gk, your wholehearted support of spurs is admirable and you seem to be able to see the best in any players we have. This kind of support is very positive and I can you imagine you never giving up faith, even if we were losing 3 - 0. I don't expect you are one of the sad idiots that leave before the final whistle. But please do not confuse that admirable support with rational, realistic and reasonable statements that others' are expected to accept without judgement. Jenas is not one of the best CMs in the premiership, he isn't one of the best in London or even at spurs. He shows glimpses of pure quality at times, hence some of the interest shown in him, but he has never maintained it for a sustained period. He is a good back up player at best and time is running out for him to be judged as more than this.

top-class managers for the last 6-7yrs have rated Jenas as an excellent midfielder, people like Jol, Ramos, Ericsson, Capello and even Arry have picked him (regularly at club-level) whenever he is injury-free..... and a chap called Mourinho wanted him at Inter Milan 2yrs ago...

I would expect most of these managers recognised the quality he can other as a back up player and due to his versatility could bring him on as a sub in a number of positions if needed.
Maybe next year...

when Jenas is fully-fit he is a Spurs regular.... the last 2 seasons he's had more than his share of sustained injury, hence the short memories of him and what he brings us when fully-fit...

even this season the vast majority of games he has played in, he's played very well.... not every single game, but then that would apply to every other player at Spurs too..

and if you think I wax lyrical about every Spurs player, you obviously havent been here all that long  :D

Jenas is STILL the best all-round midfielder at Spurs.... FACT.

I think you will find that is OPINION and this is something that you can not argue against because it is the truth. You are simply stating your views and you are not omniscient... FACT.

VDV & Modric are both better players by the way...OPINION, but probably an accurate one.
Maybe next year...

when you look at all the tasks a midfielder needs to do, then its rather obvious that Jenas ticks te most boxes out of al our central-midfielders especially....

Vaart is barely a midfielder, he is a 2nd-striker operating in 'the hole' behind the primary striker...... and Modric lacks the athleticism and sheer running-power to be classed as a best all-round midfielder for any side..

as much as you can prove anything in Football, Jenas is STILL our best all-round midfielder.
