think he's been disrespectfully under-valued by Arry and the management for sometime now... 1 of the best LBs in European football and probably still on a pittance compared to his more hyped colleagues..

he should demand contract talks NOW and get better terms or signal intent to move.... the most under-valued mainstay of the team by a mile...

One of the few areas in which my nemesis and I are in total agreement. Well said keown. Our most underated performer. I can guarantee any possible replacement would be a step down in class. He is one of our best players. If harry cant see this he shouldn be in management. Sky sports could always employ him to do the transfer round up each window.

great left back, would be a shame to lose him. harry would have to buy an experienced new left back if he were to leave. and it might be wise to buy back up as well, because i dont think bale is good enough cover defensively

We dont have suitable LB cover and Arry should move now to secure BAE for a few years to come and lets pay the lad what he is worth!

As Benoit has stated more than often, playing football is a job for him. So if Juve would pay him more, he would move on. And I cannot blame him as he has never been a badge-kissing type.

all this badge-kissing rubbish is a load of poo..... any player is only worshipped/liked as long as he tows the line and not have a mind/free-will of his own..... just look at whats happened with Torres and the LFC 'fans'..

BAE loves playing football make no mistake, he wouldnt as good as he is otherwise.... but dont take him for a fool..

if he feels that lesser players are given more respect by the mngt and is also paid a fraction of what others earn.... then he should respect himself and get his agent to demand talks with Levy NOW..... If not, he should push for a move in the summer.... he won't be short of suitors, thats for sure..

From what I read in the article that was posted on him on here a couple of weeks ago he owns 8 Shelby Mustangs. You don't own many of those if you on a pittance. He probably should be on a better contract in line with our higher earners, if only due to the number of appearances he makes and his consistent quality of performance. But to suggest he is earning a pittance is ludicrous. Maybe in relation to some other footballers he is but I expect most on here would gladly swap wage packets with him.

Taime.... not like you to be so pedantic..

of course I meant relative to other people kicking a piece of round leather around for a living...

btw, I dont even know what a Shelby Mustang is..... maybe a cross between a USA wild-horse and a Shetland pony ??  :P

Have to agre with the general concensus here. BAE is an ASSET. For £8m we will be hard pushed to replace him,and we won't (with the same quality) if we don't get CL next season. Top class LB's are not ten a penny.  Who can name a suitable replacement who would be available to us?  Baines perhaps, not better than BAE for sure though.

BAE is great! I love his casual and unorthodox approach to defending. I hope he stays.

He could do better than Juve if he leaves. If he does go then i really dont wanmt to see Heinz, his best days are long gone. The big red nosed one doesnt often get it wrong when he lets players leave Utd.

I think Baines is superb going forward but i dont know too much about his defending over 90 mins in a game as highlights usually just show what he is doing going forward.

So is he a defender or another attacking Bale?

ps hope BAE doesn't go, the last two seasons he has been very consistant.

I have no idea what a DDOS attack is but it sounds a bit like a girl with large breasts attacking us? Is there any video of the attack as i would like to watch that one day?

I applaud your support for BAE and I agree that he is vastly underrated, but not by Harry. I have to think that a large part of our seeming willingness to address other roster needs points to the coaching staff's appreciation for Assou-Ekotto. BAE is a rock. He can do it all and he is almost never injured. Levy has demonstrated many times over that he likes to play the waiting game. He won't offer more until it seems inevitable that we will lose the player. As you say, he may not be a self-proclaimed "badge kisser" but I'm sure he likes playing - and at Tottenham he is as close to a guaranteed starter as we have, and he has virtually no competition.

He's strained his left adductor muscle it says. Whats that then ? Do we all have those or just footballers ? I wonder how mine are ? *courtesy of taimedowne*
