Anyway, back on subject, Beckham is, in my humble opinion, better suited to Championship football where, given time, his undoubted crossing ability could generate opportunities for the 'lump it in' forwards

I think that harrys obsession with the media and bargain basement signings are beginning to worry me. Shouldn't he focus on the league and not these unnecessary distractions. Next up he will try and get gary neville to reconsider retirement to come and play for us. I bet he thought about it at least once or twice. Why not get becks to get all his old mates to come and have alan hanson quip you will win nothing with pensioners. Oh how we would prove him wrong

Paying his wages or not mate is really neither here nor there the whole Beckham circus is a complete distraction and the media focus on this individual and Arrys praising comments about what he could do for our lads as if they are not that good cant be good for the team, look at all the effort it took early late Dec/Early Jan to try and get him here to hopefully play which I am so glad he didnt!

Then our subsquent failings in the transfer window, the battering by Fulham, lucky escape at Blackburn, not saying these are down simply to the Beckham farce but I am certain it has been a small unsettling ingredient. 

I for one will be glad when he is gone and hope so much he never comes back in any capacity unless to watch a match from the stands.... probably when we play the Arse and he will be in the away section!

Our Dutchie VDV delivers the ball brilliantly most of the time. All that happened on Wednesday was the Giraffe managed to get his face/shoulder/back style of heading the ball in the correct order for a change.

I don't think our recent travails (nice word ) is down to any Beckham factor.... the Fulham game was a disaster thanks to 'Les' Dawson reverting back to what he was regularly 1-2yrs ago... Dawson in that match was a total moron, 2-0 down away and a player down  =  no way back 99 times outta 100...

as for Blackbum game, we didnt play well cos we are STILL lacking the right blend due to Vaarty being shoehorned yet again into the team, now in Lennon's place at RM .... it will be interesting where Arry will shoehorn him into next game if Bale returns...
