Actually....Swa Rezz could work for Spurs
« on: January 10, 2011, 12:12:06 PM »
after initial thoughts on the viability of Goofy playing a lone-striker role, I'm now of the opinion that he may well be able to...

he is a meaty bar-steward who is very powerful and agressive, tho he lacks height.... has enough pace and very good movement. He also packs a mulekick of a wallop with either foot and can actually hold up the ball quite well (yes I'm looking at you Hutch !!)....

at 17m ounds, its now worth going for..... fingers crossed, it happens after Keano finally leaves in the next few days...

Ugs...Kaka and Messi wouldn't fit into our system sure....sorry i forgot.....Bale and Modric are leaving in the summer so mybe they could...but the only thing is, Cameron Zishan Rana Jerome is going to have to make do with a place on the bench..im sure he'll be delighted :ohyeah:

Bet he has already made the call mate, thing is GK would have to ensure the above superstars are ok with squad rotation as until GK sorts good deals for our curently equally talented players Modders and Bale squad rotation it is!

not actually sure we would need Messi and Kaka especially.... and they are too good to be mere backup, on the wages they would demand..

Arry is actually pleasantly surprising me with his transfer-targets now.... Phil Neville is an excellent shout to back up LB or even RB, and he also would add to the experienced mentors we will need, having already secured |Gallas and Becks.... P.Neville is a great presence to have around, and tho quiet he is enormously respected by all players and will be a guiding light for the young squad here... especialy with a possible title run-in..

if we can recycle Keane by getting in Pienaar, then thats another crackerjack deal..... but I'd still have Townsend on the bench for many games to back up the wide-roles..

all we need then is Goofy

Neville didnt require a bus-pass etc when he played his part in Everrton's recent win.... nor in the Spurs game before that when he marked a chap called Bale rather well..

which is why you dont want him....

and also why Arry pretended to bid for him, and Moyes pretended to be irate and rejected it outright without even entering a negotiation over the price..

I wish I could be just like you...
