dont think it was much because he's contract was running out. Around 1.5 mil I think.

Yeah it was around 1.5 million.

To be honest with the Bale situation though, Southampton will try and get as many millions for him as they can, and with Ars*nal and other clubs interested in him too, it will be hard for us to get his name on the back of a shirt.

Who knows though.. Time will tell..
